    I really find this very amusing.... I wonder how many planes fly everyday... and the rate of air collisions that happen every year.. Totally awesome!

    The size of the dots aren't to scale so it isn't as much of a mess as it may appear.  Atleast I don't think there are any planes larger then the size of Mexico City.  The busiest airports during peak hours have a plane landing every 15 seconds and are setup to handle so much traffic.  Washington Dulles for example has 6 runways and hundreds of ground personell.
