Why I dont play AO anymore?

See those flames? Thos are a nano (spell) visual error when used with a yalm (flying vehicle). That bug as been there for the full 2 1/2 years I played. Damn Funcom, you're pretty fast to fix those bugs!

So you are saying that you still play and fly your yalm even though there are still enigmatic flames whenever you do so? Wel....i hate to say it buddy, but...those "flames" are long since gone, for me at least. If you're still playing and still getting them, maybe it's you or something. Becuase I, personallly have never experienced those flames in my yalm andor kodiak. Yep...

So, you're quitting or have quit already because of a slight visual bug? I mean it's not like your screen is turning black and you can't see where you're going.
There must be another reason to leave the game.
I stopped playing because I got bored.

I mean, come on lol. Its a slight visual bug. If it bothered you that much, or still bothers you today, then DONT GET IN YOUR YALM, ITS THAT SIMPLE, if you want to complain about AO's laggy quality and bad graphics and all theses SLIGHT VISUAL BUGS, then do it elsewhere, on some other forum or whatever. Because, again. Graphics do not make a game, gameplay and plit and depth, make a game. So, AO doesnt have the best graphics, and yea it is sometimes laggy in places, (for ex. the ramp going up at ToTW, for me) but hey, come on. What good game isnt laggy in some places? and also, not EVERY game is going to be the Arian game, the PERFECT game. every game that comes in from now until the end of time is going to have flaws, even at the peak of its career. Programmers and developrs and editors and who and whatever goes into making a game is not going to be as perfect as they thing. I commend Funcom for giving it their all and putting out so many great expansions. Everyone loves them, and no matter how hard you look, there will always be some type of negative comment about EVERY game no matter what its rating. I mean look at Wow, big game, everyone loves it. I dont, for one. I mean, does anyone not get tired of playing the same type of freaking genre of game over and over and over again? I am for one. Medieval/fantasy genres are getting old, for a little while I least. I have played other types of games too, and yes they were ok. but the minuter I started playing AO, i knew it was going to be the game for me, in the couple days..months,,,,years etc. ANd if wouldnt have mattered to me even if the game crashed every 10 minutes (which it did when i was running it on Windows ME, then i uupgraded to Xp and it went away.) And the screen blacked out and there were little "enigmatic flames" on my screen each time I rode in my yalm/kodiak/Mid/hydro vechilcle. I understand were you are coming from, but loyal fans to AO basic and expansion backs, if they loved the game enough, wouldnt care about a slight visual bug. Ok? I hope you understand now why me personally was offended just a little bit on your lack or respect for AO because of slight visual big as you called it, and that it was the WHOLE reason you quit. yea..ok. Yeah, sometimes some companys really f*ck up IMO, well known bugs dont get fixed, SWG is a liveing example, the devs dont seem to know theres a thing called PLAYERS as they dont listen to them, AO is a better version of SWG, still they are so alike i almost though i was in naboo the first time i came to rome....

Larger, or more game-play affecting bugs are usualy taken out. The only thing that annoys me is the issue of balance between classes, and that isn't that major either, some just are a bit more challanging to play. But if you are going to quit a game, have a good reason.

well, on second thought... Don't quit AO! You need to stick around & play one of the other races. That way, you won't be so negatively impacted by 'slight' imperfections in human life.

This sort of posts are almost in the forums of every game in here.Fortunately, nowadays, I feel like I'm immune to the posts that say "your game suck!".What makes me disappointed is seeing some elite members who encourage these cry babies. This forum is not for the people who abuse the game company and fans of the game. AO is welcoming new people, this forum is for them; AO has the members that are confused about something in the game, this forum is for them; AO has dedicated members who are willing to share their experience, this forum is for them. Sure we can also talk over the bug issues, but not certainly in this way. You could have sent an e-mail to the company, but it was easier to irritate the fans of AO in here, eh?
Talking over issues with keeping a tactful and considerable language is splendid to see in all forums for me,yet all I see the most in here are the post like the one of topic starter, even more harsh ones..
Well, if you think "the game sucks", why don't you go playing another one or getting a life?

after shadowlands it's essentially "the class that funcom forgot"
maybe its not a visual bug
