Global Agenda: "I" Alliance Achieves First Zone Conquest

Last Thursday the "I" Alliance became the first Alliance to fully conquer one of Global Agenda's Conquest Zones.

ePeen, the lead Agency of the I Alliance, posted an article on their website detailing their path to victory, which was at times quite arduous:

It feels like we have been at this for a very long time. It is hard to believe the game only launched 2 months ago. The agency started as a solo mercenary group for hire that had a desire to be the best. After a lot of positioning, hardwork, and great team play we made good on our goal to become the world first winners in Global Agenda. Not so long ago it was just our agency fighting to secure our own base and holding off the CTC alliance onslaught to get our shields up. Home tree is where it all started.

The road has been far from easy, we have had to remove some major threats along the way and had help from some great friends to make the difference. Our first major assault came against an alliance that at one point held almost as much of the map as the iMMoRtALs alliance did. The OP alliance was a powerhouse that needed to be dealt with quickly before it removed hope from other groups defiance. We kept the pressure on as a single agency and when LP dropped, we seized the moment and went for the jugular. After a night of pounding the unshielded base left behind by LP most of the OP alliance folded up like a paper airplane leaving the game out of pure fear of losing. TRX was left trying to hold us off on their own and did so with dignity and never quit fighting which gained a lot of respect in our eyes. The nukes went off and the giant fell.

    A lot can be read into this article. A couple of the major ones:

     The name of the guild is most likely an accurate description of its members (no one else would wear that name)

     The members on the losing side quit the game rather than be 2'nd best? And you are gloating over the fact that they left? (This hurts all the players in the long run.)

     

    In either case, is this the type of community you really want to deal with in a game?

    You shouild probably do a bit of research on the guild before blatently basing us...

     

     


    You should probably do a bit of research on the guild before blindly making a bias post.  You know nothing of or about us.  We have done nothing but promote this game, its community and provide 8 months of internal beta testing feedback to help it hit the market strong.  Educate yourself before sounding like a moron.

    Congrats epeen on beating up everyone that didn't jump ship, because lp didn't just leave on their own. Lp left because they saw the game was failing, and that the once awesome mods were no longer doing anything to fix it and quite blatantly told everyone that we weren't the majority anymore and we shouldn't be listened to.

    Then more and more left, CTC was in alpha and hell most of them left, parts of Rebel left, MIA left. Nexus is kinda of waning on things because they are getting burnt out by the 7 days a week to keep anything going, and still even with 1.3 no conquest changes.

    Yes congrats on winning a game that none of the alpha testers are even playing anymore, and congrats on beating a zone that has very few agencies in the game anymore. Those invisible opponents must be really hard right?

    Also you struggled against CTC and prevailed what? You guys in beta made a cease fire, then you guys broke it and CTC crushed your face into the dirt to the point where your entire beta alliance was destroyed.

    I think they have all the right to brag about their achievement. You are reading too much into it.

    All the venom and hatred directed towards these guys just makes me realise I need to get my char to 30 and join in some conquest ASAP!

    They won you lost cry my a river build a bridge and get over it! You all quit because the GMs wouldn't take your emails anymore? When you come here an whine about someone else winning and enjoying the game it makes you sound like a burnt teenager crying over the girlfriend that left him.

    These guys beat you and they didn't cheat or go crying to developers so atleast pay them their dues, complaining on forums just makes me think you deserved to get bitch slapped!

    The members on the losing side are now owning the entire map that replaced Citidel.

    The people that lost the first round are now owning the new map. Those that say there was no competition either A) dont play or B) Fail troll.

     

    Good job at a good start.

     

    Especially since ePeen is not there anymore. Hope that it does not change and you will have a shot at being number 2.
