Can't sign up for Beta or the Official Forums

Last night my husband signed up for the 3rd Open Beta Event using a Yahoo addy. 

 

Today I tried signing up (for both Beta and their Official Forums) and I can't register for either one.  I've tried using a Yahoo and a Gmail addy and neither one will work.  I keep getting the error:  Email is not valid

    Try entering your email address without caps. Worked for me when i entered it in with all lowercase. Good luck.

    That!...Hero call!

    Lower case fixes that problem...although I am a little bit scared that if they can have a simple problem such as not recognizing caps....there might be much bigger flaws with the game.  Attention to detail is huge.
