EDIT: In fact I was starting to wonder if the plan was to bait (by which I mean "bore") you guys in to attacking the south or something. That would be the kind of... "original" strategic thinking for which Molle has become famous.
Still on the other hand I got really awesome at speedrunning missions again. The Nightmare really shines when you're backing it up with a rack of +5% hardwirings. I went with +5% turret damage, +5% large laser damage, +5% cap, +5% cap recharge, +5% tracking. 6300 hp alpha!
Well, the upcoming weeks won't be much more interesting anyways, unless the lag got rolled back to empyrean age levels. I, for one, have an alt ready to screw around elsewhere on the map while i wait for gridload.
I recently found a way to run civ IV and eve together without killing my framerate too much on my dual screen setup. I guess that will come in handy.. v0v
I bought Civ4 back in the day. While I found it conceptually fascinating, it just didn't seem as much fun to play as the earlier iterations. I dunno, it didn't hook me. Whilst I too make good use of the dual screen goodness, the game that I end up playing alongside EVE is... Angband.
Angband is kind of a nostalgia trip for me, I used to play it (in an earlier form) when I was a kid. It has just the right characteristics to entertain me when I'm grinding ISK.
If you convert that into real US $$$, that comes down to about $18,000 US.
Which just shows how idiotic converting game currency to real currency is, so what's your point?
I was just trying to put a different perspective on the damage done in this war so far, considering lots of people pay real money for ingame currency, or buy gametime with ingame currency.
Then I will proclaim that so far i lost the equivalent of 20.000 DM in german Monopoly currency (bought and printed before the euro) and the equivalent of fifteen ice cream cones due to time invested.

Another game i can recommend for blackscreening is wurm online. Tending fields and grooming your cows is very relaxing.
