Wow, and active Reclamation chat......

You know, for the past two months i've been keeping an eye on another forum, hoping for life to appear so I can get all worked up again about finding myself in Reclamation (hell, I've already got the back-story worked out while i waited for for new post on said forum).  So one night, well actually tonight, I find myself having trouble sleeping and decided for giggles to check an old email addy i haven't used in sometime, low and behold, right at the top of my new mail is note saying an update on Reclamation.  Checked the update, and the previous one, and then realized, oh wait..... THIS is the main Rec site, not the other one.

I know i'm joining the chat a bit late here, but just wanted to say hi, and yes, I do have a character that I play actively in UL, just didn't use his name here because ....... actually, I don't remeber why I didn't.  Meh.

Anyways, Hi peoples and Lyra, really hope we're not waiting too much longer to be in the new dream.

....and life goes on

dreaming again... that is a comfort.

New to this forum, though certainly not to the dream, though it's been a while for me.

Looking forward to dreaming again, though my situation leaves me wishing for a Linux client, as I'd be hard pressed to justify it otherwise. I'm incredibly excited about Reclamation though.

If you get a copy of Cedega or VMware you should be able to use the Underlight client on a linux box. Crossover doesn't work with it though because it doesn't come with directX drivers.

That is an option, but it's not a very good one in my opinion. I have a hard time justiifying paying for software that I need to emulate in order to run.

However, unlike Underlight, Reclamation appears to have been written with the idea of Cross-Platform compatibility in mind. With luck, a Linux client will be available at release.

I hope so! Things run like crap on emulators!
