Considering a re-sub for this new server

But I have some questions.
First, I am a casual player. I have some 50s on different servers. Would they all be transferred over?
Second, I understand that the new server is one huge server that has taken all others place. Does that mean that it is TOA only?
Third, if it is TOA only, then my players, which were all on classic servers, would be a great disadvantage right? What incentive or reasoning would I have to come back knowing that I could not compete with someone who was fully decked out in TOA gear with all of their master levels completed?

Well I stopped playing when WAR came out, but have been in vent talk with friends that are still in DAoC (trying to get me to play again), they tell me that you can transfer you 50s to the new server but most likely will lose your name if it's already taken (obviously).
For us Classic server players I hear it wasn't that easy of a transition, because yes it's ToA server, some of the items we had in the Classic servers are different from the ToA servers so your current template might be messed up.
As for RvR competition, if you were decked out in Classic, you should be fine in ToA, both server players reached stat caps and resists, only different is ToA toons have those pesky artifact abilities. Last time I tried ToA before I left the game, they changed it so you can do 100% ToA, ML's, arti encounter and scrolls via merchants that sell it to you for Bounty Points, so if you're a big RvR'er that hates PvE and are transferring big RR guys then you most likely have more than enough BP's to get all that. Only thing that you can't buy is the artifact exp but heard that it goes up decently in RvR.
If you expect to immediately for RvR in NF on your level 50 from the Classic servers, then you will be behind, but it won't take too much.
First, if you talk to an NPC before transfering servers, you will get ML1-5. Second, many templates just use dragon items. The classic ones can be traded in for ToA stat verions. Same with epic armor.
So you will probably need to retemplate at least some to get an artifact or two, but that will be the biggest hurdle. If you get into a decent guild, they will help you out. New toons start all the time and I run into the new player every day or two. Oh, and you get do ToA stuff by trading in bounty points or framing glass. These will give you artifacts and ML.

I'm from Hibernia, any idea what NPC's to talk to about receiving the last of master levels for free before transfering?
You only get token for the first 5 ML, not all of them. What NPC you talk to is in the link. Once you trasfer, you turn the token in to a NPC in scrios.
