MMORPG.com's Garrett Fuller writes this look at the new NPC bosses being introduced into Hi-Rez Studio's Global Agenda.
Recently, we sat down with the folks at Global Agenda to talk about the upcoming expansion and some of the baddies you will be fighting it out with. We have several previews of the expansion coming in the next few weeks but wanted to start by talking about some of the boss NPCs that are in the game. Global Agenda continues to be a top PvP game.
The first boss we got a look at was the Switch Blade who uses blades to strike down the teams. The Switch Blade can perform spin attacks as well as create a vortex to suck players in and chop them to bits. As a tip for players, the boss has a weak spot after the vortex and whirlwind so that is when you want to let guns fly and try to take down the nasty chopper. This fight was added to give players some PvE fun in Global Agenda, something the team has been working on based on fan feedback from the community.
Read NPC Bosses.

Cool!! I'v always felt that the GA-bosses were a little lame.
I love reading an article about PvE bosses and hearing
"Global Agenda continues to be a top PvP game."
at the start of it. Gives me great hope for the rest of the article.

Hirez is working hard and improving the overall quality of their game, especially with the future patch.

These 3 bosses are already in the game. I've killed them many, many times. Recently the developers improved the PvE play, including the bosses. Maybe thats with this press release?
Yeah those bosses have been in the game for quite a while...
I still haven't tried this one out yet, gonna have to check out that trial.
Our spirit was here long before you
Long before us
And long will it be after your pride brings you to your end
That one boss has a huge rack.
These bosses are pretty cool, but they don't require real teamwork to defeat either, it mostly depends on having a good group setup, hiding when an ability is used and just putting out as much damage as possible for the rest.
The switchblade is by far the thoughest imo.
Feel free to use my referral link for SW:TOR if you want to test out the game. You'll get some special unlocks!
arnt thos bosses allrdy in the game? i can remember killing em countless of time over the last weeks
I WANT A SCI-FI MMO!! (NOT EVE, or Fom, or FE)
If you have a balanced team switchblade is the easiest, if the medic just heals the assault then the assault can tank any damage switchy dishes out whilst constantly firing at him. The others just deal with anything else or add extra DPS, switchy dies fast. The key is that if you're assault and have a good medic don't panic when he sucks you in with his whirlwind thingy, just hit RMB and deal pain with your minigun or whatever weapon you use.

The first time I completed Max Sec, and getting <4 deaths, was against Switchblade. He was rediciulously easy, if anything the Think Tank can be one of the worst bosses, but that primarily depends on the room she spanws in. IF its small shes a lot hard to fight, a bigger room lets you draw her away from add spawn and gives you more mobility.
Also everything except the info on the dune commander is old, you guys forget to post this earlier :P.
Those are all in the game already, the tentacle guy looks like the things from the Matrix that fly around and rip through ships. The 4v4 is basically non existant because their premade grouping system is poor and you cant do it without it. If you look at 4v4 missions compared to anything else they are almost non existant.
Um... how is this new? These bosses have been in here since beta. To whoever wrote this post... Fail sir.... just fail.
switchblade is the easiest, actually. the game promotes balanced teams, not specific setups. ive been a part of some crazy combos in max sec missions, and has great success. what i love about GA's pve is that it's truly skill-based. you can make any spec work, if youre good at it. and you dont need "tanks" or "healbots:.
mind you, a tank is highly recommended for max sec, but not required. and a healer makes things a lot easier. but you rarely need both.
this article is just an announcement that they'll be giving more details about new bosses. only the dune boss is new, rest are already in game. not really sure why it was written without hands-on experience or a preview.
Old news but still GA has improved bounds and leaps since release, and 1.3 sounds like a miracle patch. I can easily see this title going from fail to epic succeed and set the base for the new wave of MMOTPSs
Just started GA today and I'm pleasantly surprised. Yeah, the PvE is repetitive, but I'm glad Hi-Rez knows that and is working on it.
The community is on par with WoW, though. After spending so much time in LotRO and EVE, it brings back a lot of memories. Strangely, part of me likes it. I think I'm infected or something.
Edit: Rhoklaw, unless there are two of you, I'm pretty sure I grouped up with your Assault toon today.
This information is old news. Been fighting these baddies since beta. Nothing new. Sandstorms sounds AWESOME though,
