Blizzard Blue poster Bashiok has announced that information on what class changes are in store for World of Warcraft's 10 classes will be coming very soon, with the first batch to hit tomorrow. The first three classes to be profiled will be the Warlock, Shaman and Priest. The class previews will contain informatioon on the new 80-85 spell list, talent changes, passive mastery bonuses, and for some classes, new low level spells.
The full preview schedule can be found below:
Shaman - April 7
Priest - April 7
Warlock - April 7
Warrior - April 8
Death Knight - April 8
Rogue - April 8
Hunter - April 9
Druid - April 9
Mage - April 9
Paladin - April 16* *The paladin is still deep in development. Instead of giving a preview that would be potentially less comprehensive than the other classes we made the decision to post it when it's ready, in order to properly honor the paladin class and those that play them. The wait isn't too long however as we're expecting to be able to post it on April 16.

Go go rogue/mage.
I bet the Paladin gets shafted.
They never did know what to do with them!
This games class system is broken beyond possible solution.
With dual specs, hybrid classes doing more dps than pure dps classes and without any special goal for any class (for example, mages were needed to sheep, rogues to open doors, etc) the game is just not interesting anymore class wise, it's virtually only 3 classes, dps, tank and healer, and some of them even are the 3 things at the same time.
Lets see whats comes out of the changes
So how does this thing work? I was one step ahead of you on this one again; I mean the tip thing

You need to submit your tips through the newsroom tipbox, just posting a thread containing the same information is not considered a tip.
Click the News tab at the top of the page, when it loads you will see a box for text entry on the right side of the page, with the text above it reading "Know something we don't?". That is where you submit your tip and the source link.
OnTopic: As a returning player who only recently came back to the game I am having an absolute blast. I've spent a large portion of the last year or two being strictly involved in mostly sandbox mmorpgs, I thought it would have turned me off of the themepark experience forever, but it seems to have renewed my love for it to be entirely honest.
Can't wait to see what new shiny things my priest is getting. (:
Thank you, now I know

Np bud, glad to be of assistance.
I used to send mine to the Staff directly and only found out about the tipbox when MikeB brought it to my attention (thanks again Mike). It is also the method that allows you to receive the tip related forum titles, such as Tipster, Gumshoe, Newshound, etc...
What I tend to do is provide the name of the game that the tip pertains to and then provide the source link, short and sweet, easy for the Staff to verify.
Actually, paladins were really kick ass after one re-balance during Burning Crusade. I was actually able to kill people in BGs afterwards instead of getting them down to a sliver of health and watching as they ran away from me.
Pallies are VERY likely to get nerfed to hell and back. Given all of the hysterics from soft shells about them being "OP". But I doubt they will get it as bad as DK's did for months and months.
new low level spells??? Wooop good news for my twinks
Yeah.. BC was the turning point for pallies. Before that, oh gawd remember the 1.9 "paladin love patch", killed what was left of our DPS, didn't fix the SoC bug (that rank doesn't exist) and made protection a bigger joke.
Luckily BC came along... and the wotlk... pallies have come some way, we've never really been overpowered... there was a FotM but anyone playing paladins only saw the DPS they felt was needed. Still the change with exorcism was meh, judgements was a bit meh too... the lay on hands change was just dumb... but i'll survive.
still remember being the first "tank" belf paladin on EU Nagrand, man was it hard to convince people paladins could do it....
anythings better than when they removed our "strike" ability after beta. Shame we're delayed a week after the other 9.
Interesting change with the deathknights:
blood - main tanking build, self healing, defensive cooldown
frost - properly duel wield, spell, runic power
unholy - minion, disease
"nothing actually matters, we're just slightly evolved monkeys clinging to a dying piece of rock hurtling through space waiting for our eventual death." - Frankie Boyle, Mock The Week
Hah! You've never played a shadowpriest, huh? More dps than pure? Pfft... I'd be happy just getting to the 90% they keep shoving down our throats.
At least, with the dispel changes, I won't have to stop to cast abolish disease, any more. Screw popping out of shadowform for that nonsense, especially with the raised cost of the dispels.
In short: meh.
Waiting for more info. on everything before I get any more disdainful about Bliz's consistent inability to balance its way out of a wet paper bag with a grenade.
Same, I've been trying eve and darkfall for the last year, and tried ffxi for the third time. However, wow is as fun as its been since bc came out, for me at least.
It sucks being a hardcore player at heart but a casual player in availability. ~NightCloak
im just waiting for them to say we decided that wow was to hard still so we removed all player interaction so all you need to do is right click a mob and your toon will kill it in the most efficiant way possible
they have done these kind of changes 5 years now,why so surprised now
Generation P
I just recently rejoined WoW after a nearly 5 year break, I've been back literally like 8 days, I made a DK and was wondering am I playing the "nerfed" version? because I have to say I'm having the most fun playing a toon since my old "Roach Mage" way back in UO.
Granted I'm only lvl 73, but if this is the "nerfed" down DK than I hope they don't change a thing!
DK has been BADLY nerfed since the launch of WOTLK. I played one at launch. Totally different class, and a LOT more fun. Originally they set out as an anti caster class. They turned out to be quite good at killing soft shell casters. So good in fact, that the casters started howling like banshees. ^^ DK is OP!! Casters having become accustomed to being able to nuke melee from a distance, suddenly found themselves on the receiving end. After months of howling, whining and hysterical screaming on the forums, the nerfs started. They continued for months. DK can still be fun to play, but they are a mere shadow of their former selves.
