Well I play Tantra Online http://www.tantra.ph/ and I also help some ppl in the Tantra forums but there are many things that got on my nerves in the forums.

I need you guys to read this Topic and tell me that I am correct in this little debate:

In the first link, I am Himuken. Please read the topic (it's basicaly 1 American VS all Philipinos) and one had given some very weird comments, but overall my statment was true and they just didn't want to take it.

BTW, if you have extra time, browse the forums, you will start to understand somthing about the ppl behind the game and the GM's. When this game goes to PVP, I will tell you guys the story.

Hey that game looks pretty interesting, anybody wanna tell us what it's like?

Some of that concept art like the this

is pretty cool looking. Man I'm constantly amazed how much more stylish and slick asian artwork is compared to our lame ass western EQ2 type garbage that seems to be obsessed with clunky photo-realism. It's too bad Risk Your Life got such horrible reviews because the art and videos for that game look awesome. Anyone ever see the artwork in Disciples 2, that game has THE most beautiful, inspired and stunning artwork I've ever seen in a computer game. The gameplay is only slightly above average for a turn based strategy game, but the artwork is worth the price alone.

Yeah, tantra is pretty good but the problem with the game is the support team (basicaly GM's). Some GM's abuse the rules and get away with it. Huge ammounts of spam is in the forums and GM's rarely answer topics. Becides, some of the phillippinos have issues with people who isn't in their country. This game basicly gathers in the Phillipines with promotions n stuff but not to the outside world.

I know if the support don't improve and admin's bad picking on GM's. This game will fall during P2P

This is simply a matter of preference. Some people like the more realistic art style that EQ2 has, and some people prefer the more exotic eastern/anime art style. Personally I just grew out of the Anime style art, and now I like a more traditional and realistic art style. Tantra is a big exception for me, I absolutely loved the concept art of each of the different clans. They carried the art style into the game very well too.

And to the original poster, a lot of the people posting in that thread were pretty dense, it's not hard to understand the point you were trying to make. However; poster #2 summed it up pretty well.

i dont think that u can win a arguement on the internet or a "Debate" as u like to call it. just cus people ahve no inhibitiosn to say the dumbest, wildest, or anything with an Est on it. so no way ur gonna win, this site has good community but it still has a little bit of that problem. Example being the young players ruin games thread.

Yeah, well if one makes a debate and another a argument then it would look like an argument. You are right. Also I beleive they all are kids, esplically Tantra Shop Online. He used to have his pic in his atitvar and he look like hes 11

We play the philipine version, and go to the philipine boards, so the korean site doesn't matter to us. Only Tantra.ph(.com.ph) is official to us. Even though some ppl like to stretch topics into an argument (becuase some ppl are @$$holes, a GM (a problem causing GM that got away with so many things in the game of Tantra) stated:

"And if you want to be technical, Korean site is the only official, philippine is official to there version of tantra, while Korean is official to all versions seeing how they are the creators of tantra."

Funny how the many philipino's think that the Phillippines Tantra is the (only) official. I bet the GM just find out looking though the site and trying to be the last smart @$$ before locking the topic.

The the Korean version is being picked off, taking the money of ppl in the philippines becuase the mmorpg's of the US of A cost double in their country. That's why they are comerically for the philippines and not for anyone else in the world (somthing like that).

Come to think about that....it is a good business way to get money....

In a internet debate, their is the person that is right and the dumbazz who just want to make remarks. Not the way it's supposed to go really. Nah, I personally know people in this site and you are not a total stranger, but people are free to give their opinions so it's not like your going to back me up in a real gunfight if you don't know me.
