Ask this question when you're actually going to buy the game. Otherwise, go do research like any responsible internet user.
Would you really decide on which game to buy based on which gets the most votes? Thats completely retarded. Go read reviews on each one of these games, and I mean really read the reviews, dont just look at the scores.
When you're deciding on which MMORPG you want to buy there's a lot you need to consider. Do you want PvP (Player vs Player)? PvM/E (Player vs Monster) Do you want to solo? Do you want to group most of the time? Are you a casual gamer (IE: only play for short periods of time) or hardcore (4+hours at a time) are graphics very important to you? Storyline? Sci-Fi or Fantasy?
What i'm saying is you need to think of what YOU like, not what the majority likes, that's how you can decide which MMORPG is best for YOU.
Let me give you some examples.
EQ2 doesn't have PVP, is very group oriented (although soloing is becoming easier) it will have lots and lots of new content coming out, SOE is really good at this. And the graphics are as good as can be, theres aren't even any computers that can run the highest setting with decent framerates.
Anarchy Online does have PvP, and the PvP has meaning as well, you can control towers, player cities, some of the higher level dungeons you have to fight over with other players. It's easy to solo, but grouping is just better XP. And if you're looking for depth NOTHING can touch Anarchy Online, there is so much I don't even know after playing it for a long time. The graphics are outdated, but Funcom has improved the graphics as much as the engine will let them. This game has a very unique feel too, everything feels hand-crafted and very weird/different. Very Cyberpunk theme.
World of Warcraft has PvP, although it's pretty pointless right now (will change soon) soloing is very very easy, and you can actually make progress while you do. The graphics are good, screenshots do not do this game justice. Art Style is right up there with Anarchy Online, very cool them going on here. This is THE game for casual gamers.
Guild Wars - hmm... Good if you don't want to pay monthly fee, but i'm betting it will be like most games where you have to buy the expansions. From the couple of days that I played it it just seemed average.
Warhammer? Are you talking about the cancelled MMORPG?
And do not wait until later, there are so many amazing MMORPGs out right now.
Not sure why I wrote all this, judging by your thread you probably have the attention span of a 14 year old.
basicly, i ned to know NOW because i might be getting some games for my birthday so i need to know before i tell my parents 'i want lineage 2'. so if your just shut up and list a few games, it would help.
oh yea, i am not going to look thru reiews of 50 different games. i wanted to know which games were the best BY WORD OF MOUTH. its not a crime to be helpful.
and aboutthe only thing i care about is that its a character based RPG no tlike eve or have the graphics setup of graal or RO.(the kind where your guy is 48% torso, 50% head, and 2% limbs
"so if your just shut up and list a few games, it would help."
I guess my assumption about you was correct. Had you read my post and not just the first paragraph you would see that I DID try to help and briefly explain each of the games. And you said you wouldn't get the game until june/july.
One of these things is not like the other!
Your profile says you are 25. You need your parents to buy games for you? Lord in heaven that is a sad thing. Tell you what, why not ask your parents to teach you some common sense and some manners for your next birthday, since that will probably do you more good than a new MMOG.

did u seriously use the term "responsible internet user", i dont think a single person who has used the internet has not taken it to their advantage, whether by looking someone up on dexonline.com or by looking at porn, or using the internet as an all purpose research tool which it is not yet. there is no such thing as an innocent internet user.
