If you play Warhammer, and not aware.. Mythic had a billing error, that charged people multiple times. Some being less severe, and other cases being way more. Some people have said they got charged up wards to $300-$500. Then that's not including overdraft fee's some people were getting.
If you been out of the loop, on what's going on with Warhammer recently and play the game, I would make sure to take a look... on how much you got charged. So you can take proper action, on fixing it.. if you need to.

Also from what I've been told, this also affected Dark Age of Camelot as well.

I wouldn't blame Mythic for this.
They use a third party company that controls their shopping cart.
It sucks this happened, but it happens with a lot of online companies and its their 3rd party vendor's fault.....not the company itself.
Ugh...at some point Devs will look outside the box.
I agree.
The problem had nothing to with Mythic at all, they simply have the unwanted task of performing damage control now that is has, while they wait for the vendor who handles there billing to correct the errant charges.

Still no matter what, at the end of day. This reflects negatively on Mythic, even if it's the 3rd party vendor's fault.
And I was just thinking about resubbing to DAoC for a month as well. Thanks for the heads up.
yeah i just got off the phone with a EA rep for Warhammer. I def. got rocked for $300 . I got hit with 18 monthly sub prices consecetively. They are saying up to 36 hours for refunds to everyone that got hit.... Hell i was almost convinced some how before the call that when i hit the cancel membership that i accidentaly some how hit a life time membership button lol.

As Kryptico pointed out, they are saying it will take upwards to 36 hours to get refunds. They are working on getting your money back, and another reminder for everyone make sure you didn't get hit with overdraft fee's with your bank... so you can get that sorted out, if you have to.

To top this mess off, numerous people.. are complaining about their accounts being hacked right before the billing fiasco. People getting cleaned of gold, and missing items... and Mythic is tip toeing around it, saying it's not their fault. I was looking forward coming back for a month to check out 1.3.5.
I have no more will, to help support this company anymore... good job Mythic
