Windows 7 32 bit. This piece of shit keeps crashing on my PC. What to do?

That's not an issue. The game is supposed to do that. If it actually worked then that would be an issue.

nowgame.exe? If so try lowering all graphics setting to the lowest possible setting, minus resolution. (regardless of your hardware)
(Skip the .ini editing, if that was a real fix SV would have changed the .ini
)

You aren't missing anything. Anyway... Kinda hard to trouble shoot without more information. Nowgame.exe? CTD?BSOD?...

as of the March 7th there is a new installer in mortalonline.com which could help many people with problems. try it out!
i will compile most of the crash errors i stumble upon in #mortalonline-help almost daily. and some other small bugs.
all the Crashes I'm referring to are the Nowgame.exe crashes. (the nowgame.exe is just a windows general error message for all types of crashing.)
first lets explain the stages launching the game (when you report a bug/crash make sure you mention at which stage its happening, use the next stages as reference):
1. Main Launcher
3. Splash Screen
4. Game Login
5. Character Select
6. Loading Screen (spinning sword)
7. In Game
this way, if you got a problem you can tell between which stages do you get it.
Before you start, make sure you have your Graphic Card drivers updated! ATI, NVIDIA
also if you are using Windows XP make sure you installed the latest .net Framework
also the Installer from mortalonline.com has ALL needed software to run the game, it includes: Physx, .Net, and Directx. (I missed anything?) so you shouldn't have problems with those anymore.
another point:
the game runs fine in:
Win XP 32bit/64bit
Win Vista 32bit/64bit
Win 7 32bit/64bit
so don't blame the operation system.
you might also want to make sure your Router/Firewall Do NOT block the Mortal processes both of launcher and game.

so now, the known problems by order: P = Problem, S = Solution.
P. I cant post in Beta Forum and can't view Bug Tracker.
S. You need to link your game account and forum account to gain access, you can do it here. (do not work in firefox)
P. Once i get to Main Launcher, it freezes and the sound starting to repeat itself like a broken record.
S. The problem is with the sound device, you should set your sound settings to Stereo, 24bit 48000hz in your sound card manager, some people had to change to 16bit instead.
P. I get on Main Launcher "ERROR: error downloading a file auto-retry in __ seconds"
S. This is usually caused when the Nowgame.exe proccess still works in the background and you should close the process via the Task Manager
P.I get on Main Launcher "Scan error! An execption occurred during a WebClient request."
S. running the launcher as Administrator supposed to fix this.
P. I click Play on the Main Launcher, the Launcher disappears and nothing happening
S. You need to install latest Physx Driver even if you are an ATI user.
P. I get C++ runtime error

P. I click Play on the Main Launcher and get the error: This program can't be started because d3dxd10_41.dll is missing.
S. You need to install the latest DirectX
P.I crash at the splash screen

P. I try to create the Character but when i click Save or Enter Game nothing happens.
S. The server is either Offline or the server is Laggy (during beta you might experience this a lot). best you can do is leave it for 5-10 minutes and see if anything happens.
P. I can login in the Game Login but can't see my characters
S. Same as previous problem.
P. I'm stuck at the Loading Screen and nothing happens
S. Same as previous problem.
P. I'm In Game but cant see other players, NPCs and basically cant do anything but running.
S. Usually when this happens it means the server is in Offline mode, in other cases it could be just bad lag, best way to test it is to try and sheath the weapon using X. if it works, you are in Online mode but very laggy.
P. I Crash In Game non stop, it was fine before
S. Thanks to a bug report by Trixxer
in your Mo folder go to:
Updater > mortalonline > UnrealEngine3 > NowGame > Config and open NowEngine.ini
now, first thing you wanna do is backup the file.
now, get in the file and look for maxLODsize=4096 line, you will find many of them, change the number from 4096 to 512. in all of them.
save and start the game.

P. I Crash In Game
S. Its Beta, the best thing you can do, is to go to Bug Tracker and report what were you doing when your game crashed.

S. to some people, removing the forced AA and AF from video card options, has fixed the issue.

HELP, Nothing worked for me, i still Crash.
If you still crash and you using Win7 or Vista go to control panel > administrative tools > Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Applications. and paste the error you get.
Error type from Event Viewer, you will see it as the faulting module:
Kernel32.dll or Kernelbase.dll: General windows error, this error means you have a problem in your system and its compatibility to the game or vice versa, it could be bad drivers, bad hardware, hardware collision, lack of compatibility, low memory, incompatible hardware with game etc. there is no specific fix for this as it could be different for each one, unless its on the game side and then you would just have to wait. both also could be caused when the installation went bad at some point, reinstalling the game completely could fix this.

some reported that making a new fresh install of the game fixed their problems with that.
MSVCR90.dll: This file usually got to do with Microsoft visual studio. something with the Redistributing Visual C++ Files... try cleaning your drivers with Driver Sweeper to remove Drivers that might collide in your computer, this program will remove all the drivers related to ATI and NVidia, but do it on your own risk.
if none of this stuff helped you, the first thing you wanna do is to restart computer and reinstall game.
also lower all your graphics to the minimum see if it helps.
if you still having issue you can try and use Driver Sweeper to remove Drivers that might collide in your computer.
