Looking for a F2P Competative MMO?

I've recently discovered League of Legends and I absolutely love it. If you ever played Warcraft 3 mod DOTA then you are already familiar with the gameplay but if not then it's different than anything you've ever played before. (Was for me)

I don't think it really qualifies as an MMORPG but it has alot of RPG elements (leveling up, loot, some persistance, etc)

Anyway, nothing to lose to try it out and see if you like it:

    Its definatly not an mmo.

    And since you brought it up, Heroes of Newerth is far better ;)

    I classify it as an MMO.

    Never heard of Heroes of Newerth, how is it different and why is it better? I'll give it a shot

    Unless your a DotA expert you will hate it and LoL destroys it in every way.

    Then by your classification, Call of Duty and Battlefield are mmos. 

    And as far as HoN, it caters to a slightly more "hardcore" crowd who are rude and unsupportive of new players.
