A friend of mine convinced me to come back and check out WoW. I haven't played since 2005. Apparently you use a BattleNet account to log in now and I've never had one, so I created one. I tried to attach my game account to the BattleNet account and the website says I'm already attached to another account. Now, I don't remember ever creating one and I've had the same e-mail addy for years so even if I did, it would have been under the one I used to create the new account. This concerns me.
My probelm is this. How the hell can you get in touch with Blizzard? I've sent them 3 e-mails with NO response and I've tried calling them 7 times in the past two days and I either get a message that won't connect me to support because they are too busy or -- if I happen to get through -- I'm told the wait time is over one hour. WTF?
Anyone have any ideas on how to get a more timely response? This is awful and I'm just considering srapping the idea of re-subbing altogether and placing WoW in my pile of MMOs I'll never play again.

Good Luck.. Their support is getting worse by the month.. Years ago it used to be a 20 min wait on the phone, then 30, then 1 hour, now you are lucky to even get that.. 90% of the time you'll get the "all lines are busy call back later".. lol Email is iffy at best.. I look at is this way.. if things are so perfect, why is customer support too busy to answer the phone.. LOL
I've never had problems with any games CS, Blizzard always got to me in roughly thirty minutes.

Im attempting to come back after a year or so off and Ive had the same problems. The best way to get in contact with them is over the phone. Yeah it sucks that the wait is 45 minutes to an hour, but its the quickest way to solve the delimna. After waiting and finding out I had no idea what the answer to my secret question was and the fact someone changed the e-mail used, still unable to get my account up and running but hopefullly thatll change in the next few days.

Yup I've had the same problem. I've only been put on hold once in the last 3 days, every other time they've been to busy to put me through. I've sent emails to two different branches of their customer service and have got nothing. A few months ago my account got hacked and the help was just as bad. Never was able to get back into the game again. Customer suport told me I had access but when I logged in it said I was banned. Its crazy. I love Blizzard and want to continue playing their games... but if its this hard to get help... well hell, untill I do get help I can't even begin thinking of playing!
