City of Heroes: Six Year Anniversary Celebration Details; Issue 17 Date Set

On April 28th, 2010 Paragon Studios will be celebrating six years of City of Heroes, a superheroic feat for any developer! To mark the joyous occasion, Paragon will be throwing a number of in-game events, holding a meet and greet with the developers on the Training Room, and drumroll please, launching Issue 17: Dark Mirror!
That's right, Issue 17: Dark Mirror will launch on April 28! Woo-hoo!
The festivities will kick off beginning April 26th, so be sure to have your cape dry cleaned and ready to go by then!

Wish they would give details on when they are releasing the Demon mastermind set :P.
April 28th with Issue 17. :P
But I thought they said the Demon set would be released before this issue? Was that not the case? Not trying to be a smartass I just remember reading it would be released in April before an Issue and the expansion.
What I read is that Demon Summoning would be "coming in April with Issue 17."
Well what I read made it sound like it would be first. I guess you cant believe everything you read on the interwebs

They've always said that DS would be with I17.
I understand your excitement though, DS is gonna be off the hook!
Sweet, its about time lol. Only thing that bugs me is I resubbed early this month since it was supposed to be coming out in April and its coming out at the END of April. So I get a few days before I have to resub again.. Oh well
Wonder if they'll offer a free weekend sometime in May ?
I think it's pretty likely they'll offer at least one between now and when Going Rogue is released.
Dual-Pistols was available before Issue 17 if you prepurchased the expansion. You then got Demon-Summoning upon release of Issue 17 as an added bonus.
I'm waiting for the expansion myself, since I want to play in the new Praetoria area with my Demon Summoner.
Is the new Praetoria area coming with I17? I am in the open beta on Test Server and I see the demon summoning powers and some graphigs updates, but no info on how to get to the Praetorian area.
OOps nevermind. I see that the expansion is separate from I17.
