So people Plz help me clear some stuff out.

Skillrings

How r these activated/Used?

(As if u kan ad a skill from say a ranger and u r a War/Mo, then won't u need to chose a Rangerskill that is not "connected" to a Rangeratribute (Like wildernes survival or so)) ?

SkillCharms

Don't they just work for 24h ??

 

Also a small poll.

Would you pay 50gold for a Skillring or a Skillcharm ??

Asuming it is a Ring/Charm you think is good (an Elite skill or a Mo ring that may ad healing to your char)

    well a skill ring going for 50 is pretty cheap the lowest seen it was 75 :P if i was selling it i would be more cautious on what ring i was selling for 50 gold
    also the charm last 40hrs i think

    When you have a skill charm, you can use a skill necklace (bought at outfitter) to temporarily learn a skill from any profession. Lasts 24 hours last time i checked. To use it, just double click the necklace, the click on the charm

    If you use a skill ring on the skill charm, you learn that skill forever. You may only do that with skills from either of your professions. To use the ring, just double click the ring, then click on the charm.

    I'd absolutely pay 50 gold for a ring or a charm containing a rare skill I want.

    What about Skills that r affected by Atributes you don't have (As a War/mon don't have Marksmanship) ?

    I know u allways have some "Base" in all weapons/skills u use (higher chanse of fail on some skills).

    But will it then do the Lowest damage (if we take a Bowskill asosiated with Marksmanship) is a Skill have 12-15 dam. ?

    You can temporarily 'learn' skills outside your profession combo (War/Mon), like Marksmanship skills from the Ranger line, but yes, because you have zero points in Marksmanship, the skill might be very low power.

    There ARE skills that have no linked attribute, though, and some that are useful in certain situations even if their power or duration is at the minimum.

    Something like Power Shot wouldn't be too effective on a War/Mon, but Penetrating Attack works just fine - maybe even with a sword.

    wow i never knew that i wouldn't mind getting the ranger skill frozen soil... its rare but i bloody hate it in pvp.. if you don't know what it is it stops you from being ressurected in a aoe effect

    I have a warrior skill ring... wonder if I could get the Rangers animal skill so I could use a pet as a warrior... that would be cool...

    Do u play Warrior ???

    If so the answer is Nopp

    You may only make Proffesio skills Permanent (So if u r War/mo then ONLY war skills and Monk Skills can be made permanent).

    BUT if you r a War/Ranger u may (but then u need a Ranger Skill ring, And i have one if u want to trade for the warrior ring ;))
