So far I know there is 5 new zones which 2 factions that people can choose to grind rep with and a pet you can turn into a mount eventually!
Anything else?
Seems like a patch to me not an expansion, except for the 5 new zones :S

Here is short list of what the features are:
-Eastern Empire of Khitai - the new zones in Khitai, who will be more big and open then before
-Pick your side - introducing one of the many factions in Khitai and the faction system it self
-Wolf and Tiger mounts - the new pet-mounts that you can acquire, go through quest to obtain them, raise them and train them till they grow enough to become your battle companion
-Alternate Advance System - new powers and abilities and advancing your characters even when offline
-New Content - the new weapons and armors, new race - start as Khitan, new quests in the zones, new dungeons etc.
Funcom have updated the AoC website so there should be more info there

Its 12 factions and 2 "hidden" ones also, so a total of 14 factions. (Correct me if I`m wrong here)

So 5 new zones is not enough content for you to call it an expac? really? they are not even charging you full box price like Dear Blizzard does.
Thanks for the replies, I see they updated the Conan official website will do some reading! Doesnt sound to bad will probally roll a new character so I can see all the new low level content also.

. The price is as close to stealing an expantion as you can get without actual stealing it. The prise at play is sow low (18pounds), it cost not more than a month gameplaytime(that is included in the box). For all new commer this is an bargan. You get the original game+ expantion+ 30days and some cool item all for 18pounds.
Se that the "old expantion" World Of Warcraft: Wrath Of The Lich King cost 18pound and then you ned the original game and other expantion(burning crusade). And you need a gamecard as well. Sow this is realy cheap and worth a try, if you have an PC to run it.
You have got to be kidding that's loads of content. 5 playfields, 12 factions, alternative advancement system, and loads more.

Most the MMOs or even other games like FPS would have probably called 5 maps a map pac, maybe if the zones are bigger and have more depth than other MMOs but the size seems limited by the game engine, maybe they will amaze us, who knows but we can all agree to be a bit skeptical when it comes to a Funcom release. For instance as WoW's price was brought up as more expensive TBC http://www.wowwiki.com/World_of_Warcraft:_The_Burning_Crusade 11 new world zones, 8 grouping dungeans or EQ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ruins_of_Kunark 26 zones AND http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EverQuest:_The_Scars_of_Velious 19 zones, a mix of solo/group/raid and both out within the two year mark.
You must remember this is an MMO so "content" is important, if you play an RPG you run out of content but usualy have a better story in contrast MMOs are all about longevity to justify the subscription price - I don't see people playing FF or any other RPGs 20+ hours a week for 2-10 years straight. It took two years to create this expansion so it will be a solid benchmark as to what to expect and if it is lite or the next AoC stimulus is two years away it will affect longivity. I can't judge it till it comes out but I urge Funcom to lift NDA if they have so much great stuff to share.

Plus another bunch of dungeons around 15 at a guess and multiple bosses, judging from the video off Xfire that one zone they were in was about 2/3 times the size of regular AoC zone, the zone looked massive!
I would expect a bunch of quests, and the AA system to account for easily 5-20 levels worth of work, which is much better than a simple level bump.

Two weeks from launch and still no word on classes.
I've pre-ordered, but I won't resub until I find that out. I got burned out on the game and don't want to play one of my older characters/classes if I'm going to restart the same class.
Basically...as soon as they release that info I'll come back and play something OTHER than what I'm going to play on 5-11.
Why aren't they telling us this stuff?!?!?
What about classes?
They are not changing anything about them. Added in the AA system (which goes to Live next week and is not a part of the expansion). Added an asian race you can roll at start and run thru Tortage.

They did say in a video cant remember which one but there is not going to be any new classes there is a new race but thats it. I think they are giving new skills and abilities however but thats as close as it gets to new classes :P

In other words....I don't want to play my assassin if that class is in the expansion, since I may want to start a new one and I want to avoid burnout again. I might play my older ToS of they don't have that in the expansion. Simple really.
5 new zones sounds pretty solid to me. Dismissing that seems kinda like saying, "Once you take away the car it comes with, this wheel doesn't seem worth $30,000. ;P
It could be argued that the 4 nations and their content should have been there at launch(it sounds like AoC will finally have enough content to remove the grind holes in current progression), but still, it sounds like there's a good chunk of stuff, here. If it's $30 or less, anyway.

i paid 40 dollars for blizzards expansions that came with 30 days play time this expansion the digital dl is 25 dollars with no play time so add the 15 dollars for the month of playtime = wala 40 dollars same as blizzards

Class and Archetype Trees for AAs are very similar to what i am used to in EQ2 and these perks sound very fun. Could make for a lot of interesting PvP especially when you never know what powerful perk someone has equipped
