New (tutorial) player - I have questions about the UI

Since (IIRC) you cant post on the official boards with a trial account I thought i would ask some things here.

Can you change the font size in the UI- Its a wee bit small for me...

I use 2 monitors and would like the ability to move some windows to my second monitor is this possible (I didn't see anything regarding 2 monitor support in the options)

    ESC -> General Settings -> General -> Font Size

    You cant detach windows, but you can move them around and you can stack them.

    Trial accounts can post in the EVE New Citizens Q&A forum.

    Changing the font size is limited. You can adjust the font spacing a bit, and change the font size for the right click menues. You can also change the font size for each chat channel individually with the control on their windows.

    You can get EVE to use two monitors if you set up for graphics drivers to use "span mode" that turns your two monitors into one big virtual monitor as far as programs are concerned. You ship will be stuck in the middle (split between the screens) but you can drag the controls around.

    That stinks that the uo windows are constrained to the main game window :(

    There is a font size changing tweaker on every window in the top right.  But yea, the UI in eve is not thegreatest,  it IS functional however, just takes a while to figure out all the things you can do with it.

     

    Welcome to eve, dont be afraid to ask questions in your CORP channel, and dont be quick to join a corp, contrary to the advice that everyone gives you!  Learn a bit first so that when you do join a corp you know what kind of corp suits you.
