Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures: Try Godslayer for Free This Week! Launch Trailer Released

Funcom has partnered with IGN to offer players the opportunity to try out Age of Conan's upcoming Rise of the Godslayer expansion for free this week!
As part of this offer, FilePlanet subscribers will have exclusive access to keys allowing them to play on the Godslayer beta servers from Thursday, May 6th at 3AM PDT to late Monday evening the following week. It's important to note that keys will be limited!
FilePlanet subscribers looking to claim their keys should check back here throughout the afternoon, as keys are set to be distributed later today.
Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer is set to go live next Tuesday, May 11th.

Sort of offtopic, is there any word on letting old players try some of the new stuff, or do we have to buy it first?

Well atm there is 140-150k player and onely a few thousand will get the Beta acces, sow there will be a hard fight for getting a place in the last beta stage, sow I cant realy se them opening it for outcommmers yet. Just read upp on the game and check reviews the comming weeks and the lovely trailers. And by the games (orignal game + expantion+30days playtime onely 18pounds at play.com.
i just bought a 6month sub and the ce edition and have been offered no beta, figures

yea, this guy took the words right out of my mouth. i like how active members dont get anything.
Some people already have a fileplanet membership from other times, other games and offers and such (like me).
But yeah, would be nice if active members got something of a heads up.
Personally, I don't really see the point of a beta that close before launch, but ah well, might as well give it a quick peek (well, I see the point in them trying to pull the doubters over the threshold, but for ppl who were thinking of buying it anyway it's less of an incentive)

It's not a beta, it's just marketing.
Nothing wrong with that, but let's call it what it is.

Indeed, they're not even calling it a beta but actually a "sneak peak". That said the version you'd play is technically beta, as I imagine they'll have a launch day patch a day before or something of that kind.
So we will not be offering keys, but we may yet have something else up our sleeves, stay tuned!
