Has this been fixed?

Not to drag out a big discription, but I played from beta until the new classes were added, and I was pretty disappointed with the "rvr" which consisted of 2 zergs avoiding eachother in a land grab to unlock a city.

I was wondering if that has changed and a few other things:

1.  Are the classes balanced between order and destruction?  I made a very good prediction in beta, that if measures were not taken, that most people would play destruction initially, and I was right, as my server had a severe imbalance.  This wasn't the problem, the problem was that the gamer experience made people feel like order was gimp, so the patches following release made the order player TREMENDOUSLY OP and it was impossible to have a good scenario battle, since they were OP accross the board.

2.  Sorcs were ultra-gimp.   I rolled one, and found an Ironbreaker that was afk, and I unloaded on him until I died due to backlach, and I had only done about 60% damage to him, that is totally unacceptable to kill yourself before killing an afk enemy.  I know you are thinking why I would not L2P my class and not let backlash kill me, but I was just doing it as an experiment.  That is just one example, but the overarching point is, that my sorc build was at a disadvantage against any class.  At the time an entire scenario WB could not kill 2 warrior priests if they were working together.  So in summary, is Order drastically better than Destruction one on one?

3.  Are cities even on the plate?  Due to bugs, lag, noobish behavior, once a city was under attack, it turned into a huge lagfest, in which no one knew the point or the mission objectives.  There were zone caps and waiting lines, then it would just END.  Totally disappointing considering it was the apex of the game.

4.  The scenarios sucked... not much to say beyond that.

    Definitely...

@OP: I suppose you don't really want to get answers... but give the trial a go if you want.

Population, won't get more balanced then Badlands right now. As for class balance, their pretty balanced to a point,  a couple job's still need some loving, and couple tweaks for others here, and there...... just like any other game.

Sorc solo = bad, unless you know how to kite, manage their backlash, and simply know what you are doing... just like a Bright Wizard. They are both a devastating class, and just like any squishy.... they can die very fast, but kill just about anyone faster then flies swarming on shit, and can kill about anyone 1v1. As for the backlash mechanic, you do know there is a ability to expend your dark magic???? So it is a matter of L2P newb! But they toned down backlash a bit. And no Order is not drastically better then Destro one on one, it comes down knowing your class, and knowing how to play it.

Well it wasn't really a matter of people, not knowing wtf they were doing, but a matter of people not being geared for it back then, to get real deep into it. City seige is a normal thing, now a day's, and Mythic has made it more attainable to do so.

    4.  The scenarios sucked... not much to say beyond that.

For you, but for others no.

I guess this is as good a thread as any to ask this..

Have they done anything about the keypress lag and general disconnect between input commands and ability animations? This was a big issue to me the few times I tried the game and I saw it being posted about a lot on the WAR forums.

Key lagg was fixed around 1.3.2......  All they really have left to fix is the ORVR lakes which is 1.3.6 and lame crafting these days.

any word on adding a 3rd faction?

Alot of bullshit rumors from the War Invasion fanbois that went to Mythic Studios are saying there is gonna be a red plaque 3rd fraction.   We all hope there will be but my guess is "NO".
