Ok I got a yacht when i activated my account....well, i got over 4 yachts but thats another topic.
After over 100K of furniture I managed to make it somewhat homey
If you aren't familiar with the Yacht it has several floors of rooms, a bar, a ballroom, a sizeable cockpit, and a nice observatory (that I am using as a bedroom)
Here are some shots of the inside.
These were taking in the ballroom
Inside of the cockpit
If you notice...i have an assortment of blasters in my cockpit in case my guests become rather unruly.
Ok...here's a couple shots in my bedroom
And this is the room located deep in the underbelly of the ship )and convienantly next to an escape pod). This is the base of operations where we gather for any last minute run throughs before storming a rebel city.
Well...hope u liked it
...as a side note...the graphics are actually better than the screenshots. The screenshots doesnt do it justice. They did a good job rendering outer space

Use it as a painting gallery ... the paintings with the planets and space in the background looks totally awesome.

Yeah... the yachts are awesome. My step brother uses one yacht to store all of his ship loot parts, and the other to cruise around in.
It seems as if SOE is really trying to turn this game around. JTL is pretty cool, plus all the new weapons their adding with the combat re-vamp. Plus, the made the GCW more interesting. right now, I am looking for a new MMO to get into, and going back to SWG (i played it for 6 months) is getting really tempting.
Actually JTL is my biggest sore spot with the game, it isn't what I personally feel it should be. I haven't bought it and probably won't, so I just won't bother myself with that aspect of the game.

Errmm .. you have not bought it, therefore have not played it yet .... and know that it is not for you ? How ?
JTL was worth its money for the ease of travel alone, never mind flying :-) That advantage has been reduced by starship waiting time reduction from 10 to 1 min ... but BOOYYYY, I am not one to complain about that !
They add more quests in space all the time and there its just plain fun to plough into corvette defenders with a squad of 12 Firesprays flying in formation coordinated via Teamspeak. And so we get asteroid mining too. Its also nice to jump into SWG for 30-60 min just flying JTL as a shoot em up to relax.

I read about it, kept up with the official forums on it etc. I don't think you have to try something to get an idea of how it works and decide if you want it or not and yes in other posts I have very clearly a few times said why I don't like JTL and no one said I was incorrect.
With my issues with it it wouldn't be hard for me to decide I wouldn't like it without actually trying it, I had downloaded the trial several times before I went All Access but still never felt inspired to throw it on and try it. I do try to do my homework before I decide I don't like something. Its not like I am sitting here flaming it, nor am I putting it down. I stated I personally don't care for it for several reasons, and therefore will probably never use it.
As for jumping in for 30 to 60 minutes to do some quick combat, I could load xwing vs tiefighter if I want to get that out of a game, I don't play an MMO for that type of entertainment. As for mining, if I liked doing it I would have kept my Eve sub up, which I didnt.
Sorry, just don't care for it and not interested in it. It doesn't tie the game together for me, it actually divides it from my perspective into ground combat and space combat instead of meshing into one large universe like it should. I hoping ST:O will finally be the first to understand my vision of galactic travel and give me something to enjoy in that regard.

Very nice.. Thinking off buying that game too

My Yacht rocked too, unfortunately as absolutely gorgeous as JTL is. (It really is beautiful :P) The combat sucks, it doesnt feel like a good SW flight game. The laser bolts arc in an extremely odd fashion. You can literally shoot OVER something, and watch the bolts literally ARC at /insane/ angles to hit the NOSE of your opponent from BEHIND. I can hit your ships NOSE From BEHIND you. It's crazy. Besides that I don't like the ship selection yet, im sure this will change. But the Imperial ship selection sucks, Rebels have quite a few nice ones and the Privateer ones suck.
Not that they arent cool looking (Pirvateer) but there are so many EU independent ships players wanted to see that got shafted for crappy SOE 'original' ship content. Wheres the R-41 starchasers baby?
Thats the kind of stuff I always hated about SWG. They would opt out of pleasing SW fans so they could go for novelty, and even when they had the opportunity for an easier job they'd go against it. Seriously it takes a lot more time to conceptualize many different original ships, get the art done and all that. IT would have taken LESS Time to do ships that are already in existance AND you'd please SW fans. It's those simple logical decisions, that they are capable of somehow missing, that always ruined things for me.
Another example is the TIE Advanced, they put the X1 prototype in JTL. It was a PROTOTYPE as in, it didnt HAVE a production model. But there WAS a production model TIE Advanced that actually LOOKED /much/ better than the X1. But why was the X1 model in the game? Because peopel could associate it with Vaders X1. On top of that it has stats better than the TIE Interceptor, which means they went for the REAL Advanced model stats, the x1 stats were HORRIBLE in the EU/ PNP rpgs etc. So basically they used the good looking Advanced stats and the bad looking advanceds model, for simple novelty purposes.
Meh waited so long for JTL. Anyways, nice ship En1gma.
