I'm looking for a MMO, or lobby game, with the ability to play hardcore (Your character dies when you die, permanently disabled, like in Diablo 2). Been looking around now for a bit but it's hard to find since it isn't really something that appeals to the masses.
Thanks beforehand

Mythos was going to have this, It was awesome fun(except for the pvp permadeath from non-hardcores). I think I heard some one say D&D online had perma death, but I really don't know about that and I'm too lazy to look it up right now lol. Would be a cool feature for an mmo, but I'd like it more in a Diablo style game.
DDO doesn't have permadeath. They have permadeath guilds, which is different. Ultimately the only way to have this in a game is to just delete your character after a death. Self policing for the win?
I wish I had the disciplin to do this, but for some reason it doesn't really give the same feeling! But yeah, I suppose waiting for Mythos would have to do for now. Will keep on searching for a bit! Must be at least one game, other than D2 and Mythos, out there with it.
Torchlight has a hardcore mode just like D2, however it's single-player only for now.
I believe they are working on a multi-player or MMO version though.
Oh it does? I've read so much about it. Will get it now based on this reply, thanks.
lol how did I forget to mention Torchlight? Yea I really hope they put hardcore in the mmo version, and considering its the same team that was gonna put it in Mythos, I bet they will. I actually have no Idea if Hanbitsoft kept hardcore in for the Korean Mythos. Even though it's a different dev team I still hope Mythos gets localized, It'd be so fun to just run around in that world again...
Guild Wars has a title that you earn after staying alive for quite a lot of time. It's not that your character will die if you die once but you will miss the chance on that title. It's really hard to earn.
