Naughty America: The Game makes The Sims Hot Date look like Disney's Toon Town. Ask me about the guy who made Toon Town look pornographic, if only for a day. I'm glad Disney finally put in a name filter.
I think it would be extremely creepy to play a porn game with other people... just think how many of those women would be nasty creepy men.
And just thinking about how many players would be fapping while playing is sickening.

None are more successful than Second Life atm, and it didn't expect that to happen, I'm sure of that. Every designer, much like any movie director, has probably thought of the smut industry outlook at some point. Hell, you should see some of the crazy stuff on Newgrounds. I wonder if people actually pay for the full product at some point... it would amaze me because of all the flaws in this system.
1. Anonymity
First off, people are not going to pay a subscription for porn. It doesn't happen with online sites, beyond people with absolutely no shame that is, and it's not going to happen with a game. People are looking for ways to hide the fact they are into 'certain things', and a bill is not helping. They are not going to buy a download, and they are not going to link a credit card to any RMT model. The *only* option is what F2P games are doing with game cards. If you could buy smut-money for the game's CS at Target, or most likely 711 and actual porn shops, for *cash*, then you are actually going to see a lot of people trying it out. This requires you advertise the fact well enough though, so just announce the game in-general to the public... anything mentioned is likely to cause a stir anyway, it's porn.
2. Playable with one hand.
Not even joking, though you can bet I'm typing this with a smirk on my face. An article I read long ago said that the reason most Asian F2P games are point-and-click is to allow the game to be played with one hand, so that the player can smoke with the other. No lie. Just apply that theory to what you know these games are *obviously* for.
3. Dirty, dirty pillows.
Yeah, at some point the game is going to handle some pretty weird fetishes, but the closer you get to eternal hellfire and class action lawsuits, the more money you are going to get. The fact that the 'virtual actors' aren't real leaves a lot of things open that real actors would never, ever, ever do. The end result of all this totally explains why you haven't seen or heard of a serious porn game, because beyond never getting to sell it in stores, it would probably have governments take it off the internet as well. Some countries are going to ban it *cough* Australia *cough* and it's not even on the same bar as Manhunt 2. I find the entire thing hillarious, but ya, there's big money to be made if you're willing to take the ultimate risks.
