Again, I would stay very away buying items using real currancy. I got better things to buy in reality than something that only exist on a computer screen.

Yes, also happened to me to meet some ebayers on EQ. Level 50+ char who played like crap and would ruin the group. It's just sad I have to be suspicious now if I play a mmorpg and be forced not to play with/group ebayers.

IGE cant design your game, and frankly, IGE would be dead(or minimal) if all games where well designed like CoH. You dont need to go as far as CoH goes to really mine IGE.
Yantis was on my EQ server, considering that most haters are peoples that dont deserve what they earn in game anyway, it only make me laugh to see them complain later(95% of the raiders dont deserve the place they pooh, they are professionnal leeches). I let the guy know I would report him next time he ask if I have anything to sell, and he just smile and leave me alone...I told raiders to leave me alone, they chain harass folks and rotate and change toons, tell me about who is freaking scamming me?
Make the game FUN, make sure yours players WANT to play and earn their stuff, selling would be minimal, as peoples would rather PLAY then buy, make it a pain where peoples need to do stuff they dont like, then they will buy...again the problem is related with raiding(the actual form where it gave all round best stuff for everyone, specialised it to raid uberness only and tada, IGE lose 95% of it income right away), not with IGE or whatever nonsense you wanna bring.
I rather blame devs, not IGE!
