"Since launch, EverQuest II subscribers have had four character slots that can be used to try out multiple characters. Many of you have said that four slots just isn't enough to play the game all the ways you'd like to play it, and we've listened to your feedback. That's why we're pleased to announce that we will soon be giving all our EverQuest II subscribers two additional character slots. Subscribing to EverQuest II will provide a total of six character slots, while our Station Access subscribers will have a total of ten slots."

Good deal. This was the ONE serious gripe I had about this game. And then once I found out how involved the game was I realized that I didn't even need 8 slots, but was still upset about it based on principle. But now I have 6 slots? I will never use them all, garunteed.
Thank you Sony. This goes a long way for me personally.

Good news. I don't invision ever needing them all, but it's nice to have the option.
I think this was a very good move. I have the Station Pass so, I don't really need 10 slots, but one of the biggest complaints was lack of slots. Now if only they'd let us have 2 charaters on one server in SWG with the darn Jedi grind, I'd be in heaven.
once you acheive jedi padawn, doesn't that now unlock a new character slot on the same server? i thought thats how i was, now i've gotta go check, hehe.
I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.
Yes you are correct, but it's still a helleva grind to Padwan, especially when you have no interest in being a Jedi.
