Returning Player Question: Should I resub or create a new account?

Hello all,
Quick question here regarding my coming back to AoC. I was really pumped to get this game when it first came out. I got the collectors edition, rolled some toons, and.....left after just two months like many others. Will all the comments on the new expansion as well as the fixes I've heard about the changes I went out today and bought the expansion. Here is my problem, should I resub and lose the free month, or simply create a new account? I have the War Mammoth and bags (I understand I'll get this again with the expansion), the rhino and bags (don't really care) The Drinking cape and the Ring of Archeron (both of which I'm not sure if they are terribly useful or not). What do you guys think? Should I simply create a new account and forum password, or am I going to miss the other stuff two? I left before the veterans award program started so I don't think I have any reward points (and I'm not sure how it works anyways). I also don't know if I will lose any other perks that come with the game if I reactivate my existing account.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-)

Well if you cant get game time fast, you should make new account.
But if you can get it fast, id go old account :-)

All of the items one gets for getting the CE, xPack, or anything else are colored bubbles. Thats not to say they don't have value, but if one enjoys Conan, its not going to be because of those bonus items. The question comes down to what you value more: a) the characterscoinother that you have built up on your current account, or b) the free month on a new account?

I only had a level 20ish. Again I only played 2 months. Were those character wiped or are they still on the servers?
I know the answer to this one. If the account have not been active since July 2008 and your characters are sub level 20, they are with high probability deleted.
The Ultimate Breakdown
Likely wiped as mentioned before but by resubbing you'll save time and likely accrue your "Vet" points from before which can be a very valuable asset to by the Swift Horse and the rezzing zones for quickly moving through Hyboria at a faster pace at higher lvels.
don't limit yourself to just two options.....
How about as a third option you run out into traffic naked?
It's better to lurk in forums and be thought a fool...than to endlessly "Quote" and remove all doubts.
