I should probably point out that I'm not actually associated with Aventurine. I'm a Darkfall player.

I thouroughly enjoyed that, fucking amazing video Valroth!

Darkfall is a rare gem amongst a sea of crap.

If you enjoy a game who's "advanced pvp" consists of two people with 2h swords running around like douchebags trying to left click at maximum range, someone left clicking with a bow, or the occasional magic user who might as well have no life at all because you have to use reagents for every spell you have, so his darkfall existence will consist of: 1) collect reagents, 2) shooting magic orbs at a wall for 4 hours to level up his magic skill.

If you enjoy a game that had an acid pool that would level up your toughness to max in ~2 hours, yet the dev's only response was to set a GM outside of the cave instabanning anyone he saw, play darkfall.

If you enjoy a game where your mounts and vehicles are actually part of your inventory, and have to be dropped before they are mounted, or channeled back into your inventory when you unmount, play darkfall.

If you enjoy a game thats maybe a little more complex then a 3-d rpg maker some greeks took 8 years to make...  Oh wait.  THAT IS Darkfall.

    Current MMO: WoW/GW2

If you enjoy a game where npcs are so basic tha you dont even feel the need to exploit them play Aion.

If you enjoy a game who's "advanced pvp" consists of two people pressing same spells and skills in front of eachother and you just need to have a finger to click them play Aion.

If you enjoy a game that has more bots in a zone then actual players play Aion.

If you enjoy a game where theres no mounts, and when they have them you have to click a button to summon it play Aion

If you enjoy a game thats exacly a bad copy wow, rom, Lineage, GW and  a more beautifull copy of 10000 more play Aion.

Darkfall is the most unique game on the internet currently.  Its not a clone of WoW or UO.  It's in a class by itself.  Its worth giving a try to see if you like "things not WoW".

Warning!  Darkfall takes skill.  If you can't live without tab targeting, play WoW.

5 breaking sword every level up? huh?? Try crafting one . .. durability is many times higher.

Macroing was for when it took 2 weeks just to get the second ring on mana missile (before the 2009 grind-changing expansion). It used to take a month of grinding the blood wall just to get your melee mastery which can now be done just playing normally without worrying about the grind in a month or two . ... you dont know what you are talking about because most everyone in their right mind has stopped macroing since July 2009. It is no longer necessary and too expensive for the small gains that would be double if you wait until you can earn while skilling up as get up there much faster on mobs. Self-buffs are the only thing worth macroing but everything else goes up just fine by simply playing the game and not dicking around in your clan city. Macroing has stopped long ago because it is expensive and the gains, although AFK, are not as great as when hitting mobs while risking losing regs on top of that . .. not because people were getting banned trying to macro some self buffs.

NPCs?!? Who gives a fuck about NPCs . ..? LOL

Shooting magic orbs at a wall? LOL oh my god I cannot believe that people still actually use a blood wall . .. what a waste of time and no fun at all. STUPID! Only your own fault if you do not know how to play. It was a year ago when blood walls were more effective than playing the game as intended . .. have you played since July 2009? It sounds like you have not and well my date may be off but there has been quite a few major changes since then.

Advanced PVP comes from the rush that I get from playing this that other PVP games do not create. Advanced PVP comes from a challenging game that never gets easy . .. no matter how many spells you surge there are still going to be better players than you or people who just happen to be in a better mindset at the time. Player-skill will always remain the primary factor when you start and when you stop . .. unlike most every other game.

Acid pool for toughness? LOL ok now I know that you quit the game about a year ago . .. guess what? It turned out that toughness really doesn't help you much at all and it is now x6 easier to get. You have no idea what you are talking about!

Yeah mounts travel in your backpacks . .. and I guess that makes this game so unrealistic that you do not want to play it? What about all of the invisible walls, floating exclamation points, green floating arrows making sure that you dont get lost, etc??? I guess those are tolerable things eh? I dont think so and they exist in almost every other MMORPG game besides Darkfall. Baby stuff.

3-d rpg maker? Not even going to bother with this one . .. ever played a game called 'Mortal Online'? I would love to hear about what you think of that since you love Darkfall so much. Seriously though, Darkfall has changed a lot. Most of the issues that they had during release are now fixed or soon to be fixed.

a well made video, but WAAAY too much BS and brown-nosing for me to enjoy.

My Darkfall character was stuck in RED alignment until I killed enough people AFK hitting trees and rocks. Darkfall is hardcore

so?, its not like swords are hard to make. or even find, kill the right mob and before yoru sword is broken you have 10 swords in your bag.

If you enjoy a game which you could not possibly stay sane without macros, yet macroing is an insta-ban, play darkfall.

macroing is not a insta-ban, and macroing is mostly not needed anymore except for self bufs and maybe buff other.

If you enjoy a game where the npcs are so stupidly uncomplex that you can exploit half of the mobs you run into, play darkfall.

exploiting mobs to become stuck is so 12 months ago.

If you enjoy a game that had an acid pool that would level up your toughness to max in ~2 hours, yet the dev's only response was to set a GM outside of the cave instabanning anyone he saw, play darkfall.

    again so 12 months ago

your jsut a troll, there is plenty of things that could be inproved but your just trying ot bash the game with false info.
