Thinking of giving AoC another run through...Xpack purchase question

in Age of Conan: Unchained

hi, just a quick question. my girlfriend's going to be tagging with, but she still needs to get the game. If she just buys the RotGS Xpack, will that be enough or do you need the original AoC:HA game also?

    Buy the retail expansion. It comes with the original AoC built in as well as makes your patching time much shorter. It also comes with the exclusive Puma pet, the Kappa buffing pet, and the Tortage Survival pack (which has to be bought separately by digital purchasers ), and comes with 30 days free sub for new accounts.

    So if I went to gamestop today and bought the retail disk of the expansion it would include a key that would register both orgional and expansion?

     

    Can anyone else confirm this?

    This would be a much better deal then buying the base game for $20 on the website + $25 on the expansion. The retail box of the expansion is only $30.
