Hi,
I'm researching the history of Anarchy Online for a paper I'm writing. AO has a very interested background in it s pricing development and I was wondering how the players felt. If you have any additional thoughts then please feel free to comment.
Oh and please note there is a typo on the third option, should read: I'm not sure how I feel about the matter.
Thanks!

doesn't it currently do in-game advertising?
Yes it does. The Poll is asking players of the game and gamers in general if they think Funcom should have switched AO from a monthly subscription model to using in-game advertising as they did in 2004.

I voted yes, but only because it fits in the game world and they did it in a cool way. If it had been say, a high fantasy game instead of a far future science fiction game I would have had more issues with it depending on how it was handled and implimented... It's kind of a slippery slope, but I think that they did a fine job implimenting it, and if it helps them pay the bills and keep AO in development then I am all for it.

I vote yes, but I am not sure it would be as profitable as what they are doing now. I think the should give sloob accounts AI and froob account sl. Would do wonders for the economy and game world.
