And the refund process has been started. Threads are springing up over at Xsyon forums where people are leaving and getting refunds. I see a MO fall out but worse. I say worse because the small cult following they have now is starting to leave. Without them there won't be much left in terms of income.

The OP is making things up. Release date was moved to Aug. 15. One person asked about a refund. This same person changed their mind and decided to stay.

I have no reason to troll, anyone can go over and see for themselves. The only reason the flood hasn't started quite yet is because most "features" are turned off right now apparently. As soon as people realize how much work this game has left before it can be considered a quality, working game, they will passing judgment soon.
What I don't get is why they decided to allow access in such a poor state. Jooky(dev) says they let in people every day and they have 2/3 of the preorders in. My question is where are they? As it stands now the server is empty with a max of 5-10 guys on everyday. Are people joining and not coming back?
I guess time will tell. Notorious games are sure going to be known for that name.
The OP is just making an observation. Some of the people who pre-ordered are starting to reconsider that decision in light of the current state of the game and the pace of progress bring made,
"dancing banana" is most likely a reference to rlmccoy, who preordered Mortal Online, soured on it, and is now one of the most vocal critics. He includes the dancing banana in just about every post he makes. Now he's over here making 1 1/2 hour videos of himself digging ditches. When and if he sours on Xsyon , cue the dancing bananas.
If you do actually look at the forums you see only one person actually cancelled ltheir pre-order. All others voiced support for the developers or were talking about the risks pre-orders in general. This is really an amazing show of support for the developers since this sort of delay would justify such cancellation.
A biased observation is a troll. Additional evidence are use of derogitory terms:

A game is in a "poor state" instead of being in an unfinished beta state
"empty server" : Only people who know how many log-on in a day are the devs. Making claims without evidence shows bias. Unless people chat in game you will not know they are there.
I just get the feeling that Mortal Online fanbois want to bring Xsyon down as payback for Rimccoy's comments about MO.
Don't take this thread seriously, 1 guy was considering leaving, and took the slightest of persuason not to.
The screenshot showing other threads such as Pre-Order Never Again, are not even actually in regards to this game, but rather a bad past experience so the guy won't pre order this...
It is no skin off my back if people don't take me serious. I have been playing on the server for 2 months now and the only thing that has been added was a weather effect. I am not trolling nor do I want failure for Xsyon. But in my opinion this game is destine for failure due to the small group of individuals developing it. The evident signs of people leaving are on the tip of everyones tongues over there. The pressure is building and I am awaiting the outcome of the explosion. Some of you are claiming you know what is going. And some of us do know whats going on. Take it how you want. As I said before.

Obviously, I can't address the motives of the OP. That being said, I have no animus towards Xsyon, but will admit to some frustration about how some (rlmccoy especially) hold MO and Xsyon to entirely different standards. Until a couple days ago the two sere scheduled for release within a week of each other. At the moment MO has had most of its features in place and tested (but disabled to isolate desynch issues) and has one major networking problem. Meanwhile, Xsyon hasn't even put the mobs into the game yet. Somehow despite this MO fans are "blind supporters" http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/post/3551550#3551550, while Xsyon is worthy of 1 1/2 hour videos of terraforming. If biased observations are trolling, then the MO forums are chock full of trolling.
Six weeks ago, I made the bold prediction that Xsyon would experience delays and setbacks, urging people to expect those and be patient when they inevitably happened. http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/274485/No-regrets-Youve-been-warned.html Somehow, that was "bashing" the game. Personally, I think if you don't have the patience to deal with those setbacks and delays, you should never pre-order a game in the first place. If you do preorder and find that you don't have that kind of patience (or the delays become unreasonable) you should just chalk it up to experience and move on.
Admittedly, at this point there is only one person who cancelled their account for a refund and one who was considering it, but that is a sign that at least some are getting frustrated by the delays. An August release may be feasible, but still seems ambitious from what I know of the current state of the game. I continue to urge patience regarding the development process and recommend that people not actually expect an August release.
I prefer waiting longer and not to pre-order instead of seeing something again like MO. Pre-ordering simply aint worth. Ive done it with few games and every time it was a disapointment. Im going to wait and see first reviews of this game by the players (mostly haters as by their comments you see what are problems even if you consider them overreacting).

Small cult is correct, I would be suprised if there was more then 500 people interested in this.
Poor state is correct, the server is unstable, I have had to redownload the patcher numerous times becaues they dont' know how to write a proper patcher. Similar to MO eh. In that same light I have had to redownload the whole game atleast twice since I have started playing. The bugs ingame suggest that we are far away from launch even if they keep pushing it back. I would say at the rate they are adding content , maybe by christmas if they pick up the pace a little.
Empty server, once again is correct. There is only 2 spawn points , round hill and zephyer or w/e its called. They are pretty close to each other. The sever gets wiped atleast once a week, its not hard to stand near the log in point an see how many new people come in each day. Not to mention I help out the new people so I am in direct contact with the new guys all the time.
I preordered as well, but I can't see myself logging in for any length of time just to terraform. Did they add anything else into the game recently?

Real agrivating thing for me here is to the op. Why are you insulting the game? No other game would give a refund they would of laughed at em. Try to get a refund from any other mmo they will laugh at you. This company had the morals to give this guy a refund and now has morons insulting the company over it?
I am not insulting the game, simply stating the fact that this game is unfinished an far ways away from release. As the new updates come in it becomes clearly obvious we have quite a long time before things are finished. Many others are starting to step forward and get refunds as well. I am only reporting the news about how the game is doing. Everytime somethings becomes enabled or changed it breaks. If the server reached more then 20 people at once I think it would crash. This is a very bare alpha not even close to a beta.
Beta and testing. Is that what people in game are doing or are they expecting to play like the game has been released? For those of you who don't want to wait, stop playing (testing) until it comes out and you will still get your pre-ordered stuff and early entry. For those knowing they are testing to try and make the game better, continue to do the good work you are doing. For the generation 'ME' types, no need to apply. Go spend your $40 bucks on porn or something that will give you instant statisfaction.
the dev did say they would keep delaying the game until its ready for release. so whats the problem

Give me a break. Try to get a refund from sony or cryptic. I am honoured to have my collection of games.
