Does Age of Conan have any mage class that uses melee weapons? I enjoy mage classes the most because they usually have the widest range of skills, keeping the game interesting. Still, I find melee combat more exciting. Is there a way for me to play AoC this way? Downloading the trial client now.

HoX uses melee weapons
Herald of Xotli is a cloth based mage class that uses 2-handed edged weapons, has good AOE and can tranform into a demon for short periods of time.
Herald of Xotli sounds like what you want.
