I sometimes see a cheap DAoC Epic Edition in GameStop stores. And sometimes the old expansion packages!
I think you just upgrade your trial.
Pretty much, download the trial, patch ti to play, and then upgrade your account from trial to paid user and it should remove the limitations of the trial from the account.
I've been trying to upgrade my account from trial to subscribed for over a day with no success. I've contacted eamythic support, but not received a reply yet.
You can upgrade youre trial account when the trial period is over.
Sorry, I realise my post wasn't very clear.
I came to the end of my trial period and received an email from from mythic entertainment which simply said "your account is closed". No information about how to subscribe.
I tried logging into the game, thinking I would be taken to a website which would allow me to subscribe. I was indeed, taken to their website, but talk about confusing! There are options to enter a CD key, but I was of the understanding that the game and all expansions are now free to download anyway, so I hadn't bought a copy of the game. I updated my billing information to make sure they had correct credit card details, but account remains inactive.
I emailed customer support explaining the situation and asking for instructions on how to subscribe to the game; so far (almost 3 days later), no reply apart from the auto confirmation email.
So, I'm still unable to subscribe and even after googling, getting my son to go through the options on the website with me, emailing mythic, I'm no further forward.
After the billing issue im not able to pay with my EU cc on the daoc account page, I need to buy timecards at the EA store.. theres no other payment option for me.
Thanks, Shalrath ^^ I did wonder if it might have something to do with the recent billing problems they had. Mind you, would have been nice if they had answered my email.
