Well, more then a year ago, I buy FFXI. The computer I have back then should have been able to run the game, but it was not.
Now I have a much better computer, but I cant pass either the log in menu on playOnline or the registration(already did it and have all the old info, so I assume this is why they now refuse my registration code, but they didnt keep the info on my old stuff either so I cant log in, LOL).
Any idea? I do have all the info, yet, somehow, it look like they dont have it anymore or something.

it says if you cannceled your account more then 3 months ago it won't be able ot reactivate anymore ! but i don't think it is true bc my friend hasn't played over 4 months and just started again !

So they delete the info because it is like a year ago, and althought I was never able to play it, I will never be able to play without buying a new game? Oh well, I will remember to stay away from any product they release for online gaming in the future.

You could try deleting all the game files, then reinstalling it. That should work, and they keep all character information for around 4-6 months after subscription is canceled.
I would not have mind a character deleting. First time I was able to create a character but never to actually log in, so a level 1 character never played is not a big deal(more then a year anyway).
But, for some reasons, it refuse my account info or to register anew, so I cant even play it now that my computer could(1 year or so after). So basically, I buy the game and because I was unable to play past character creation 1 year ago, now it dont even accept me on PlayOnline with those infos, and neither will it accept me to register anew...it use my registration keys, but it completely erase my account info, or so it seem...
