Alganon's fake new character feature on website

Alganon decided to pretend like it made a feed of when new characters are created.  However I noticed that it seemed like too many characters were being created for how bad of a game Alganon is.  So, I reloaded the site, the exact same names were starting the feed every time and the new ones being created were of the same class, server name, and character name.

 

I even closed the browser and restarted it later to see if it was something with saved info.

      Guess my question is if you feel the game is so bad why are you trollin there website or concerned about it to begin with? Personally I think the game is 10000% improved from release date,.Is it WoW,eq2,lotr? nope not even close but it sure is no longer in the bad state is was in QL and Derek definetly get 2 thumbs uip form me so far in taking the slow steps to improve the game if  it had been sold to me in this state I wouldn't have complained like I did.The game isn't for everyone for sure b ut it's not horrible like it used to be imo a pretty interesting game so far and look forward to seeing what else they do.They have a trial server so not like people cannot go and look before they put down the 20 bucks.

     

          The website just went live today maybe the character creation funtion isn't quite working yet ever think of that sport? Happens to other mmog games websites also Turbines Lottery part of there website for lotro was down for weeks didn't see you posting here whining about that.

     

       If the game isn't for you it's not for you.Move on and play something else.

     I don't think it's fake. My wife's new character Von is listed on there.

    Also, not a bad game....quite the opposite, really. Rather fun and with no subscription cost, I expect it will (slowwwwly) garner more players over time. I say slowly because this game has very little advertising that I can tell. Hell, I heard about it because of the whole "ad copy plagiarism" deal, glad I did, it's about as fun as Torchlight or Hazen, except with multiplayer.

     

    EDIT: Also, for a WoW clone its damned good. It's giving me that "fun vibe" I got back in late 2004 when I first discovered WoW. Haven't had any games do that for a long time now. (other than Age of Conan).

    But this game is such a train wreck that it is fun to watch. Between lawsuits, insults and derek smart belittling fans, there is enough entertainment in the drama to out entertain the game 100000 times.

    Although I hate to make fun of them, I have to say that this is true.

    I think alganon is to the MMO media what Activision is the general Gaming media...but you know...without the Evil and a little more blundering.

    the names that are created are different, but they have one fatal flaw that could be taken as proof that they are fake: all of them are names that look like they were made with the random name generator, not a single one is nonesense like BradeyBunch28 or XxDrWhoFanxX. names that are some times common in games.  While this isn't definate proof, i must say that it is very suspicious.

    Since when is Tuesday a direction?

    Okay .. just to put this to bed once and for all:

    a) lots of luck getting names such as ultimo, blighthammer, sparks etc out of a random name generator

    b) if u click on each name it takes you to that characters info.. gear, studies, etc

    c) having just handed in some quests and gained a level, i can confirm that these events did appear in the recent level ups window immedialtely after they occured ingame

    d) and finally you will now see maddemon a new soldier has arrived on hokk .. congrats you're in the game lol

    and for the "screenshot or it didnt happen crowd", yes i have a screen shot

    There is a thin line between doubt and paranoia.  I constantly walk that line, but never cross it (I stay on the doubt side).
