Ok, here are the numbers for the past 24 hours.

Allied Casualties:
Ground: 3066
Air: 1407
Sea: 112

Axis Casualties:
Ground: 2231
Air: 1162
Sea: 113

Difference:
835 more Allied ground forces (troops, tanks, ATG, AAA, etc) lost.
245 more Allied air forces lost.
1 more Axis ship lost.

From those numbers guess which side has 4-5 more towns now than it did 24 hours ago?

Allies.

I'd love to know how they are losing more ground and air forces and still gaining ground. Shouldn't they be having supply problems on the front lines?

Not just another pretty color.

    Greyed,

That data you have, do you know what it represents.  I don't and I'm a day 1 player.

From what I have determed, last time I checked, between 10 to 12 thousand things die per 24hrs per side.

Go to this site csr.wwiionline.com and take a look on how many kills the German side has done since the start of this current campaign (started feb 26).

Ok I have a calculator...   lets see   the Germans have killed 299,162 things (includes inf, armor, air, and boats).  The campaign has been running for 18 days.  299,162 divided by 18 equals....

    16,620.

That means the germans on average kill 16 thousand things in game per day.  These casuality numbers are much bigger than what is reported on the wwiiol front page which leads me to conclude they represent something else.

My guess is the numbers on the front page represent the number of "personas" killed per 24hrs.  So if I log into the game today, play french infantry, and get killed many times, the front page only reports 1 loss for my french army persona.  Again, this is a guess.  I would really like an official explanation but I have yet to see one.

As far as losing more people yet gaining ground, the side that has the most casualties seems to always gain more ground; this is normal. My best guess as to why is that they have more players during the time frame, thus more people out there using the equipment and getting killed, but at the same time overwhelming the enemy.
