Anyone got info on their revenue model? B2P? Or is this a B2P + Cash Shop attempt?
Edit - Never mind, found the answer, it's B2P + Cash Shop so I am no longer interested.
I'm a bit sceptical about this game, but hey, it's not the first time that a NFS game took a wrong turn!
Also, I always loved the free roam mmo driving stuff. I just hope the powerups don't ruin the game. Looks like NFS is having identity crisis. Sometimes it wanna be a racing sim, sometimes a funny wacky racer, now it wanna be a cop and robbers game with a blur wannabe side.
Anyways, after all this, I'm still preodering sometimes around next week.
See you then.
Didn't they try this and fail with Motor City Online?
I can see this going the way Auto Assulat did.....crash and burn.
That sentiment is sadly shared.
I guess now anybody thinks they can make a successful mmo just because they have a big name backing them. Disappointing
Need for Speed North America so far you mean!
It doesn't sound interesting at all to me. So far Underground series was the best. Since then I'm missing NFS.
A good programmer is the person who creates thousands of bugs while fixing hundreds!
I purchased the starter pack because today was officially announced as the next beta phase and so I thought it was worth the 20$ to play the weekend, and now they have changed the dates to Monday on everyone.
Regardless of how stupid the decision to do a beta on a weekday is, the fact is they lied and misled everyone. Ive already asked for a refund...we'll see how that goes now.
