This game, which is similar to others in the recent indie sandbox trend is going into open beta on monday yet It doesnt have a forum here and I havent really seen anyone talking about it. Is there something wrong with it? Is it a scam? From what I have seen it looks quite good. Something like Mortal, if it actually worked.

Their is a fourm just can't remember it. i was in closed beta of it. (had alot of glitchs) but they have done alot of work to the game since i last played it. seems prety fun and fairly easy to figure out. and No it's not a scam and reason u didnt hear about it much is welp! Simple!. their not advertising or createing hype about the game yet untill their sure its ready. all new indie games do this route now as they never let every1 down and they tend to focus on trying to make things rite.
It is far from a working title. Unfortunately another indie dev team who creates games in their dreams but are hard stricken by reality. It feels like it was made on that cheap, outdated tribes engine. Sorry to be so pessemistic, but there is no point putting rosy glasses on with this one.
I dont mind bad graphics. I think an indie dev going with something that actually works as an mmo is better than a dev using oh I dont know...the Unreal 3 engine=)

Its an Indie with eyes that are probably bigger than its belly at this stage, but on-paper its appealing.
An open beta starts for a bit on Monday. Not open beta by definition, I think. The game is still in beta and their opening servers to allow people to peek-in from what I gather, more realistically.
They're releasing it far too quickly, and if the recent years have been an example you know how thats going to end up.
Releasing what? they have never announced any release date. Most player speculation puts release at least a year from now.
This game is still very early in development. Most games at this stage are usually considered "Alpha" testing. But since the forums are constantly cluttered with "OMG I can haz invite plz?" posts, and since they want to test out the faction (guild) systems that just got implemented, WAI has opened testing for everyone.
I call it the "Open-Alpha"
If you want to check it out, swing by on Monday. Just be aware, that alot of time is still spent submiting crash dumps & bug reports.
If it goes free to play..Consider it dead and add the game to the others free to play, under epic fail..
Some people rob you at gun point..Others will rob you at "Ball Point Pen"
Ah i see, I was under the impression they were going to launch next month for some reason and having been in beta for awhile i knew that would be a very bad move. But if launch actually is a year from now, i would be very happy that is they keep going at the same pace if not faster development wise.
The thing is, MOST people consider paying for indie games a waste of money and want them to lower the money to like 5 bucks/month which is well stupid. On the other hand if they go the f2p route, more then likely they end up changing the game too much either it be for the item mall or the constant nagging by f2p players. It's a no win situation really.
Its not stupid to want a game that has no way to be as big, content wise, or as polished as a major mmo to be priced accoardingly. $15 is the standard for big name mmos, which doesnt mean it should be a standard for indie mmos. Indie devs dont have the money to advertise their games like blizzard for example so they should atleast entice the mmo community with a cheaper monthly fee.
