Sorry guys, but as a player who PAYED 60 USD for the game and got nothing in return but excuses from the company and a no refund policy, I despise this game and company with every ounce of my being.
My polite requests for a refund didn't even get past a level 1 support tech. Hundreds of US players have been ripped off beyond belief. If there's ever an excuse to go to war, this is it. We should demand that the company be exiled from their country immediately. This is ROBBERY, blatant robbery.
And yet these poor dumb bastards continue to buy the game, not knowing until later that they still have to pay even more money and are forced to continue paying it. It's disgusting.
Giving someone money doesn't count as robbery... you really wanna go to war because you made the mistake of paying for a product that you knew didn't exist yet?

I can understand that you're pissed if you payed for a product that didn't turn out the way you wanted. May I ask when and why you pre-ordered Mortal Online? There's always a chance things can go bad or get delayed, specially with a small indie company that doesn't have the experience that big company's have. I'm still a bit sceptical about how it'll go after it launches, which is why I haven't paid a dime yet. I can see the potential but my hopes aren't that high to pay for the product just yet. And I can't see why anyone else would pay since the open beta was free to test for everyone, unless they truely believe in Starvault and paid for support / free acces right now.
Anyhow, I fail to see how this is robbery since it was you who decided to pay for the game regardless of it's beta status and continuous delays.

Exactly why the moderator (was the mod at the time of that screen shot) told people how to get a refund via their credit card company.
Just added a video that was created today (May 30th) that shows the multiple spawning NPCs are still in the game. That has been there for almost 10 months now, and they still have not fixed it.
yeah it'll survive, EvE did, WURM did, Darkfall did, AION did, so long as the Dev's don't take flights to outer space, MMOs survive. <insert random emoticons here for validity>

Sure I'll do my best to explain. I preordered the game and convinced friends and guild mates to come try it with me. We were NOT of the understanding that the game was in such a sorry state as it was at that time. We were horribly misled by the descriptions and videos Star Vault posted. Nor did we know we could play open beta for free a week later. They never told us any of these plans, so obviously we felt misled.
We still tried to play the game anyway, learning how to do things and trying to stay together as a guild. (they didn't have guilds available and there was only 1 chat channel for everything). While we were there, I took over 15 players around the newbie town and showed them how to make metal and other things (a daunting process involving several other town's tools). Essentially my "guild" became a school for the new players. We were forced to use out of game voice servers which we PAYED FOR, just so we could communicate and had to get many of the new members on there as well, costing more slots.
So essentially my guild and I DID STAR VAULTS JOB FOR THEM, by helping them keep their community together and keep players interested. Otherwise many would have left right then because of the insane learning curve, no tutorial and no help whatsoever.
Then the character wipes started. In a week we lost all our characters and items 5 times in a row. Then open beta was a mess beyond belief, it was so laggy we couldn't even help the new players, moderators were also non-existent.
Not to mention having our items stole out of our pockets IN TOWN BY OTHER PLAYERS with no way to fight back. many new players attacked the theif players and were killed by guards, thus helping the thieves. It's RIDICULOUS.
After open beta the game was unplayable for about a week. The animals still even now fly through the air when they should be on the ground.
So because of these and many other reasons, my entire guild left the game, even stopped coming on our voice chat. Many stopped using the internet for gaming, saying that Star Vault had ruined their impressions of online gaming and there was no hope in independent companies like thiers if they were going to rip us off.
So after all we've been through, we can't even get north american servers, I've lost a guild of over 50 players and one of the employees told me he wasn't going to give me a refund, instead picking apart everything I said and trying to ARGUE WITH ME. We've spent all this money and we get employees who ARGUE WITH US OVER EMAIL.
So that is why I say this is robbery. No one should have to be misled, mistreated and abused like Star Vault does its customers. Even in the forums you're not allowed to speak in the slightest way about what Star Vault does. They're the new-age Nazi empire.
EDIT: to the person above who commented to my post, saying that the mod told us how to get refunds from our OWN credit card companies, most of used payapl. We had no way of getting a refund except Star Vault. But even so, we shouldn't have to argue with our credit card companies for a European company's problems and bad service. It's STAR VAULT'S fault.

When they fix that before release what else are you going to post about. To be honest the mutli spawning npc is actully the other nodes crashing. server stability got alil bit better today
Not a big fan on Mortal Online atm, but it's super funny OP said that was a broken figurine. /facepalm.... It's a tabletop miniature. You have to put them together and paint them.
I derive my strength from passion. Do you feel that? That is what seperates you and I, Jedi!
You do know that the AI has been bugged for 8+ months now right? And you really think that Mortal Online can fix AI / mob bugs 10 days before release when during the entire 6 months of the open beta, they would try to fix it but cause more problems?
If you have followed Mortal Online more than a month, you would realize that they do not have a strategy and most of the "bug fixes" have caused more bugs and more systematic problems... Please refer back to the previous 13 "miracle patches" and you will see the truth...
Well, they're going to have to fix it some day, aren't they? Why can't that day be within the next ten days?

LOL it wasn't smashed it was seperated to keep it from breaking and needs to be glued. Grasping at straws here really. I find the amount of effort quite funny and the true colors are starting to come out. This whole thread is just BAHAHAHAH.

LOL but they only have wood glue to try to put together a Metal structure and they are thinning the wood glue with water to save money.

TL;DR op,
yeah it'll survive, EvE did, WURM did, Darkfall did, AION did, so long as the Dev's don't take flights to outer space, MMOs survive. <insert random emoticons here for validity>
Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?
Final Fantasy 7
Survive but for how long? Many MMOs have shut down due to lack of funds and bad management

This. I never play an MMO that won't be around when I retire.

MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
LOL but they only have wood glue to try to put together a Metal structure and they are thinning the wood glue with water to save money.
So what are they calling that "feature"?
The login thing has been driving me nuts.

I win!!! LOL@U
Not enough fans to pay their bills from what I have seen. Most people have already run away, the only people left are the hardcore base.
It is just another "hardcore" feature. "If you can't deal with it... GTFO!"
/lol
Tis post sums it all..very nice post.
I hope amateurs mmo entusiasts dont dare to make a game again without knoledge and resources.
[Mod edit]
At least hire some people with pre-existing experience so this does not happen again...
Thanks for that video, been bashing my head on the keyboard for days. Been having the exact same issue, while the fanbotz say all is well.
I win!!! LOL@U
