If its not one excuse its another...what feature exactly is it that causes mobs to walk and not fly? I put a lot of test time into the game. I had fun at points but more aggrivation than fun. I have beta tested several MMOs in the closed beta phase and MO is in worse shape than 80% of them. I can think of a couple that were in worse shape but from a content point of view and not a technical one. From a technical standpoint MO is the worst beta test I have ever done.

The rest is just basic incomplete buggy stuff...
Darkfall is no near perfection..but its lag free, runs in any machine, only in big siedges u see the performance go down, has everything working, has see battles, sieges, housing..and still not alot of people play it...
Mortal needs 2-3 years of development and content adding to be a playable game with enough features to keep a steady low population of gamers.
Im no hatter or troll i just see the facts..just look at the friking game..play it and see the disgrace...

I am honestly struggling to think of ANY aspect of the game that is finished, bug free, balanced.. and in a launchable state right now.
Combat- Not a chance.. even Henricks post says that he is looking for balancing feedback on combat after the next patch
Crafting- Lot's of options.. few that are useful.. probably closest to being complate
Magic- No way.. utterly unfinished
Housing- Only basic housing available in numbered slots and even that will still be turned off next patch
Thievery- Totally buggy and exploit prone. I think this skill gets more complaints than any other facet of the game on the MO forums. As per Henrick it will bemain deactivated for the next patch.
Guilds- Won't be in the next patch.. what existed before was rudimentary at best.
Siegewar- Nope.. not in yet.. or anytime soon as far as I know
Guards/Safeareas- Nope.. still "placeholders"
Mapmaking- Nope.. still not in game yet
Dungeons- Nope.. plenty of empty caves though
AI- Horrid... see flying/pigs
Lag/Desync- All the old Desync lssues such as getting attacked by mobs 50 feet away.. invisible mobs.. warping mobs.. still there. Just called lag now.
Religous cults- Nope.. though the Features tab still talks about how you can create temples and destroy those of your god's enemies... not in game...
So.. I honestly ask.. is there any part of the game that is "done" 13 days from launch? Anything that can be pointed to and said.. this is complete and working as intended? As I mentioned above.. I guess crafting comes closest but that's no way near it's final form...
the mob thing isnt dysync it s abug. ignore the release date they will not release with it like this

mortal online AI pathing worked fine before, but the developers had to find solutions to the desync ploblem and when they changed something it caused the AI pathing to mess up, and then they went 2 a new build and had to check things over again, they are turning features on 1 by 1 and only 3 features are left off right now.
they just released a patch a few days ago and the AI is mostly fixed, at the moment there are only 2 ploblems which are sooo minor and not gamebreaking at all.
some people forget what type of game sv is trying to make, they are the first to try something of this scale and with the unreal engine which in most mmos are instanced where sv are doing a open world mmorpg made possible with altas.
Desync is caused by loss of packets, which was not on their fault, but shortly got fixed with a upgrade.
the 2 issues with the pathfinding is the mobs move to fast and the spawn timers are messd up which result in more mobs spawning but this may be intended but it looks lie there are 2 many mobs.
if it was desync you would not be able to damage th pig instantly.
for a small team, they are have done a hell of a good job for the tasks they have taken.
mortal online is more ready then it has ever been and they will release the final touch up patches this week to fix minor issues with the AI.
the patch they just gave us gave us 20's new mobs and some other sweet stuff like 5 mounts, you can head over to the site and read the patch notes.
there has never been anything wrong when it comes to mortal online content, its just the software and hardware issues which are being addressed.
mortal online can only get better, so stick with your world of warcraft.
