kinda upset i actually opened this thread and read it... so much so that i had to sign in and leave this reply.
Actually, even the title is flawed. "How not to design a MMO 101" would be more correct, as the 101 is the "standard" no-requirement introducion course tag. Or something. While lesson 101 is, well, the lesson after lesson 100.
Useless thread
Useless answer
Perhaps the first 100 lessons were well written and thought out instead of insane ramblings like lesson #101 was?
Somebody put a Rick roll on this end and close it

There is great wisdom in this simplicity.
That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc.
We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be.
So - Stand up, pull up your pants, and walk away.

.......
Bet that made sense

But really, it's true, that is not how to design an mmo, I agree...
But who ever designed one like that? ....................

I'm sure the OP has a point

someplace
But nice try
Does this mean that there will not be an expansion to 101? I mean sense it's "how not to design an mmo", then 102 will logically not be released.
