What is your favorite game that has a series to the game

I like the series of the onimusha game because it has a nice set of weapons for your character like I said in another one of my topics i made about. I just like the series to the game because in the first onimusha you plaed as Jubei you got some nice looking weapons to use against your enemies. You also get to turn into a Onimusha in all three games but in the 1st and 2nd game you only got to use it at the final battle. But in the 3rd one you can turn into a onimusha once you get 5 purple spirits. People who havent played it before should cuz all 3 are so awesome.

Ultima. Even though I have only beaten 7, Ive playe dmost of them, and they are all SO far ahead of their time. Great games thats for sure, and the story is very original, with realistic characters. Great series.

Also, I love half-life so far. I hope it lasts more than 3 games!

    Baldurs Gate.

The storyline was just superb, very involving and engrossing.

Also the Quest games, Kings Quest, Police Quest, etc.

Have to give em props, definitely good memories with those games. Loved em.

I'll have to concur(sp) with that. Baldurs Gate was excellent, the only RPG I've ever played through more than once. (except Vampire: Bloodlines)

I would have to go with Baldurs Gate also, cant wait for #3 which is in the works.  Also would put Fallout on par with BG.

From my console days i loved the Resident Evil series.

Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Super Mario Bros., Zelda, KOTOR (since there's a 2nd one now).

    And Final Fantasy.

Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game of all time.

I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.

Toss up between Final Fantasy and Dynasty Warriors. Can't decide because one is strategy and one is hack&slash.

Same here!  Although Ultima 1 to 5 were pretty crappy with the out-of-date graphics, from Ultima 6 to 9, the series were great!  Too bad Ultima 9 was so freaking buggy you had to use cheat codes to actually finish the game.

But it's just the fact that each Ultima game actually follows with one another, and certain elements from the past come back in newer Ultima games.  That was great!

True... unless you actually played them when they were released... back in the day, those were killer graphics.

    I'de have to say either Ultima's, AD&D Gold Box's, and Final Fantasy's.

I would have to say for me it was the Elder Scroll series.
