That's true of most players. I'm sure there are some whose /played time nearly equals the time their accounts have been open. They're the ones complaining about how fast it is to 60 in WoW.

I don't know if you are being sincere or not.
I personally can't imagine doing all the same quests over again.
The reason people play this game is for fun. of course u dont get anything out of this game at the end, but the thing u do get is entertainment. If the game is easy to lv it wont be a challenge for player to achieve.

great game with amazing graphics and music! good controls! nice pvp... nice talents, cool skills. but the grind itself is a freakin joke. it was supposed to be a game for casual players but their PvE ended up as a EQ light with long tedious 2+ hours instances and their pvp hardcore gear structure is now similiar to the pvp grind that is DAOC. None of them are casual... reason why i wont play! fact is that your not achiveing anything.. the only thing i get in a new level is a new rank in a skill I already have... WOW... im sorry but thats just the biggest ripoff of all time. here i am... doing mindless killing/collecting/delivery quests with no story(they are not even quests - everything respawns and returns back to normal.. its not a quest if there is no progression and end!) and when i get a new level i get totally ripped off. I feel the game should be speeded up allot. long tedious running times with the freakin mount prices.
it is all made just so players can stick around for years wasting time instead of just having fun! i dont blame blizzard.. i blame all the FFXI, EQ and Lineage people who actually belive they are special/cool or achive anything from doing such a pointless loser concept as a grind. this is how I see it though! I know many will disagree and thats okay. I have a wife, a kid, a 9-5 job and its hard enouge to play when you want time to hang out with your buddies. its just too consuming and like a job, in my opinion! Its really too bad because wow has so many amazing qualities! I think you should go for it. if you have the time why bother how long time it takes to reach max level? its a stupid number.. how can that be fun to look at a bar! wow is totally gear dependant(most classes are not about skill, just gear and lvl) so go out and farm and run instances so you can get the uber loot - then procced to own them all in pvp and raise your self esteme as you pwn all the noobs with no valor armor or destiny sword. /spit at them and be a part of the amazing wow community. if you cant beat them, join them
roflmao.. WoW's grind is piss-ass-simple. And its not that much of a grind, you quest and kill monsters while doing the quest. If you think WoW is a hardcore grinding game, go play Lineage 2 or Ragnarok Online where the way to level up IS grinding.. WoW is designed for both casual and hardcore players. My freind reached level 59 in 19 days, that tells me this game is extremley easy to level up.
I've been playing WOW for 2 months. Hit cap about a week ago and still enjoy playing it. It doesnt end at 60 ive still got a ways to go for a full valor set (for my palidan). And I got an even longer wait till K max my blacksmithing. Its really dependant on the person if they like it or not. This is the first game I've played for longer than 3 weeks.

what he meant is that with 8 races, 2 continents and countless quests, it is impossible to do them all in one or even 2 playsession. I, for example, being a NE, have done none of the redridge mountains missions and very very few of the wetlands one. I still have a whole bunch of Ashenvale-Stonetalon to do and once i am done with that i'll prolly be ready to move on to the other more advanced areas.
So once i 'm 60, i could reroll a human/dwarf/gnome for Alliance side or do a new horde character and i will have brand new contenent right there.

Nothing is better than daoc pvp, you even get a ton of exp for killing enemy players.

But you will find a lot of the quests overlap regardless of your race...

A quest consisting of killing 1000+ players/npcs does not mean content to me...
lol i have two level 35's on 2 servers (pve and pvp), and i have been playing since wow first came out. its not a grind, different races start off in different areas, and their are so many quests to do in all the areas. if you are just going out and killing to level, yes it would be a grind, but then your not really playing the game the way it is supposed to be played. my only complant of course is how unstable the servers are. the game has been up for months, and the stability is no better.

whoever said 2 weeks for level 60 needs to get laid...among other things.
