Im very interested how they are going to put the D&D system into this game. as you look at NWN, Icewinddale, Baldurs Gate and Planescape Torment you will never find most of the rules that are in the books. especially spells that can create things will never be founded in these games except for creature or demon summoning. just like the spell that you can cast a mobile house just in front of you with an inbuild magical alarm. (cant remember the name of the spell) anyway i hope the rules better than in the older games but the older games are still good enough

I have been a member on the DDO site for quite sometime now, and It appears that the Turbine Crew and some representatives from Wizards of the Coast are working close together to make this game as close to PnP as possible. You should check out the site www.ddo.com and read the letters from the Dev team.
D&D has been a great series and it would be a shame to change that now
Goddam mad dog gnaws wang! Goddam mad dog!
if this game is even half as good as baldurs gate, or neverwinter nights then it should be worth playing

The only problem I have with this game is that they are saying that forced grouping is going to happend after the newbie levels. I like grouping as much as the next person, but sometimes you want to do something and you don't have time to go through all the grouping hassles. I don't want to have to log out and do nothing because I can't or don't have time to group.
