You know, this game really is Gotham City without a Batman.
Its like that old game concept I had after playing GTA4... "Steven Seagal's City"
A world just like GTA4 or APB, except somewhere out there is Steven Seagal and if you do enough badshit, he'll come and find you... and beat your ass.
Batman would work too, but Steven Seagal is more hilariously enjoyable.
well... now to think about it... i guess the level of badshit would be the amount of ass beating you are given..
high level of bad shit = steven seagal beating
intense level of bad shit = charles bronson Death Wish III beating
unrated level of bad shit = RoboCop

it's already like that (not those characters obviously) but say you're a criminal and you commit a lot of crimes that have witnesses but you don't get caught, you'll end up with a lot of enforcers being dispatched against you.
and of cause sometimes you could be doing such a small crime as stealing a tv or something and you'll get some dude who will just roll you dispatched against you
Can this be even called a MMO?
Well it's 80-man instances, but games with less have claimed to be mmos.
If Champions Online could be considered an MMO without question, how does this game get criticized?
I mean, Champions Online had 100s of the same level instanced so that only like 25 people were in the same place at the same time, the dungeon equivalent they had was only for five people, and yet THIS is the game that gets questioned about how much of an MMO it actually is?
That's pathetic.
Call it what you want , this site has dodgy definition of what an MMO is anyway so dicsussing it here is pretty pointless.
80 Man instances is really an arena game nothing more nothing less. No persistant world !!! and more than 1 instance of common world areas again means it is not an MMO , but again who knows what the definition is anymore .

There is not 40 vs 40 events. I was in the beta too.
They dont call it a MMP, players do. And for the record, its 40 city blocks per zone and 100 players with thousands of NPC's.
