Here I am again. I have been here many times before. I am finally financially stable enough to play another game but I would like to try before I buy.
Here is my history of MMORPG's:
Ultima Online 1997-2004
Star Wars: Galaxies 2005-2006
Saga of Ryzom 2006
City of Heroes/Villians 2007 - Present
I tried LOTR for a couple of months, WOW for about a week, DAOC for about a week, Anarchy Online for a couple of days, and Vanguard for about a week.
I don't know if I gave LOTR or Vanguard a fair enough shot. I just recently tried Fallen Earth, which I liked but my trial ended too soon, and I tried Eve Online, which I absolutely hated. I am giving Warhammer a try, but it doesn't look promising.
I would like something with a free trial because I hate to waste money on something I may or may not like. Should I give Fallen Earth more time? Is there something else out there? I am more of a soloist than anything, but I can jump into a team every once in a while.

Weird my first two were the same UO and SWG. It was a shock for to have to get into theme park games. I say give AoC a go...

Id say give vanguard another shot:

I would say give Age of Conan a try, I haven't played it in a while, but I hear good things about it now.
Vanguard was pretty good, however I was going thru a tough divorce in the middle of it. Did the hype of AoC meet the realization of the game???
i play 4story. free MMO, but is free to play, pay to win
BOOKS FTW
fallen earth is a awsome fun game. id choose neither fallen earth or guild wars (which guld wars is buy to play then free forever and trilogy is around 30 bucks) both well worth the investment with tons of fun.
I enjoyed AoC much more in the beginning half of it . .. but for some reason I could not make it far as I felt no drive or accomplishment out of it. What really bothered me was how imbalanced the classes were making me have to reroll and go through all of the same quests all over again because my original choice was gimp. Hopefully it is more balanced now but it was game-killing for me, not to mention that I really just did not like the combat feel other than the graphics.
I play a few games right now and really glad that I found Darkfall. That is the funnest one out of all that I have tried. Hopefully the next few years will bring us something better but as it is now it looks like nothing like it wil be coming out anytime soon with the same sandboxy realism (other than MO but I did not enjoy that nearly as much, if at all). Closest thing like oldschool UO out there right now, and perhaps SWG as well in many ways.
Free-trial is 14 days but that does not seem to be enough time to experience much of the game at all but maybe I am thinking this because I am a casual player.

hello im looking for a new game too, i have been playing flyff online and cabal before but my pc got burned and no i got a crappy pc a low spec but still i wanna play, can u suggest me a low spec good game MMO
There's also Everquest, Everquest 2, Lineage 2, EVE Online, Warhammer, Globel Agenda, City of Heroes, City of Villians, Champions (can't get out of newbie zone, kinda crap), you could always give those a try. I personally enjoy Everquest 2. Also, you do know that LOTRO is now going free right?
is those games can run on low spec pc?
depends how low is low but if I'm guessing right I'd say only Everquest the first one would work on "low spec" computers.
Best mmorpgs with free trial:
EQ2, Daoc, Eve, AOC
- All different, all appeal to different tastes. I'd say give all 4 a shot.
