I like the desolateness of the MO terrain

I hate a lot about this game (like FP melee and mounted.  well maybe thats about it besides the bugs and imbalance)

But i really did enjoy tne desolate.  Kind of reminds me of  the opening to "In the name of the rose".  It also kind of reminds me of ICO and builds good atmosphere.

 

I think the barrenness and the repeat textures mixed with the extremely nice mountains can build a really great atmosphere if used right.  Let see what they do with it.

    I want to say genuine, but the "repeat textures" bit sounds a little off. Repetition is usually a bad thing.

    I logged in thismorning to check the new patch, every pig in the game has levitate on, trees look like paper mache, characters look terrible, absolutly no tutorial, MO is stil an absolute mess, the only thing I thought looked good was the Mountains and the sky, the valley floors are horendous looking, I don't see this game lasting more then the 30 day trial, as great as the idea is, the devs are way over there head and i see major issues with keeping subs past the 30 days...But yes I will be checking it out tomorrow at release to see if a miracle patch can fix this mess

     

     

    Edit-And the Music does not fit the game at all, all the trailers had excellent music, nothing like that in game at all, terrible

    No i actually am being serious.  Watch the opening scene to "In the name of the rose".  It gives you the same vibe.  Just two guys crossing these endless mountains.
