How many patch files?

After around 14 hours of patching, I'm currently downloading mopatch02to03.exe at speeds between 25-75 kbs. ETA for this 1.5GB file is currently around 10 hours. All I want to know is how many patch files will I have to download in total before the client is fully updated and I can experience this groundbreaking sandbox game / bug-infested gankfest (delete as appropriate) for myself?

I don't know if this still works, as I only played in beta and am just browsing these forums to see how the game's launch is going, but I had the same trouble back then with the terrible patcher.
The solution I used was to locate the torrent files manually and load them into µtorrent or some other torrent program, and the speeds went up to 400-500 kbs quickly; you just need to let the patcher run for a bit to get the initial torrent files.
You'd probably best browse their forums to see if this is still supported though...

13 patch files altogether, the smallest being 906 KB and the largest being 2 gigs, altoghether being about 7 gigs. I left it downloading during the evening and by morning it was done, speeds vary so not sure how fast it will go for you started off at 2 MB/s for me then went down to between 40 KB/s and 300 KB/s most of the time.

Sorry was going off what SV said when they first released that client, it adds up to about 9.8 Gigs now.

Well I'm getting aggravated. I've been downloading this game since release day (wednesday) and i still have gotten to play yet. I'm downloading a 2gb patch right now. I'm hoping it will be done by the time i get off work tonight (saturday). Part of the reason it is taking extra long for me is because the patcher wouldn't install any of the files. I would have to do it manually. I think my antivirus was interfering.
I've been downloading since I got home from work last night.. 11:30pm. I'm at 65% and it is currently 2:20pm, 15 hours so far.
After the Mortal Online launcher started to download, I'd kill the launcher, and run the torrent file in uTorrent. Much faster. Just move the completed patch file to where the others are in the application folder. Launch the MO launcher and it will process and install them.
I wish I would have thought of that.. didn't even occur to me that there could be torrent files in my MO folders..
