As of now I am going to give it a shot with what is on the table, my judgement may be swayed either way depending on the next few months but I can almost guarantee that I will give it a fair shot as I have done so with most other MMOS and they didnt have my focus nearly as much.
Games Waiting for: FF14, Tera Online, Blade and Soul, and Rift
as of right now, without breaking the rules and going into detail. If the game doesn't change certain aspects I will be passing on it, but will see in the up comming months.
I'm a long time FF fan, I played FFXI for about a year and it wasn't what I was hoping it to be and it was far too grindy. So, there's that, and there's also the fact that GW2, SW TOR and Tera are looking good to me. I won't be playing three P2P's so I'm leaning towards SW TOR and TERA as my sub based games, and won't be touching FFXIV.
Won't be playing it. I try most MMOs, but Final Fantasy MMOs never held any appeal for me.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein "Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre
I'll wait a month after it's out and read this forum and other reviews. If I see stuff like "instancing", "invisible walls", "storyline cutscenes" and such, I'll pass.
I'm not going to make a decision until I play the beta. I am going to play FFXIV, but for how long is a different question. I played FFXI for 2 years and loved it, but have evolved so much since then.
I'm going to give it a shot. I played FFXI for 6 or so years but since I have quit, other MMOs have spoiled me with easy access to everything.
I'll play because I really like Final Fantasy, but if it is to difficult to just log in and 'go' and I have to dedicate my life to it then I won't be playing it very long. I have hope though
There are simply too many other games that are interesting to me, and I can't see myself becoming immersed in the FF world, or identifying with my character in any way.
I mean, it looks like t will be a cool game and all.....just not my stein of ale.
I gonna try it out, no matter what the reviews say about it.
I mean FFXIII got a lot of hate, but I loved it.
I am pretty sure I at least will enjoy this for a month. All the other MMORPG's that are comming out can't keep my interest, I see FFXIV my last hope for a MMORPG I like.
Never played any of the FF games. Watched some of the movies. Though I enjoyed those films, the games have never held any interest for me in the least.
I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?

Whoever has already decided for one side or another is making hasty judgments.

It depends. If it is P2P, I won't be playing.

Still holding out for a "world".

Looking forward to trying FF14, GW2, and Rifts (or whatever they rename it).
I'm planning to give it a try... I never plan to play a game before it's released, been burned too many times.
I'm not planning to play it. If the reviews come out and are good, and it offers some stuff that I find neat then maybe I will change my mind.
Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1.
