Movement Problem

ShortspellShortspell Member UncommonPosts: 78

Hi guys

Just read the Berserker interview and wondered if you think it's likely that a person who's really bad at movement could play any of the classes in this game?  It looks gorgeous and interesting, and I'm going to try it regardless, but have to say that I'm possibly the worst ever player at moving around a target.  I definitely don't think I'd manage the berserker class after reading that description (altho it does indeed sound fun).

I would practice by playing some FPS'.  I suggest TF2, you will learn after a while about moving around and staying mobile.  Other then that, maybe some oblivion, dragon age, fallout, etc etc.  I am sure others will have some good suggestions.

P.S. - i was thinking of other thrid person view aiming games to try, and I thought that the jedi academy games would be good practice.

I guess you are a lineage player. Staying in one place and spamming f1 f2. Time to learn how to move in combat.

There are a few options for you if you cannot get the hang of WASD.  One option is to use a speedpad like a Belkin n52 and use the built in D-pad for movement.  Or you can use an XBox360 Controller (all controllers should be fully supported).

If none of these options are good for you then you might be out of luck.

If u own a Wii pick up monster hunter tri. That will help you learn to move around, evade, and think in combat. If u have a ps2 and can get copy try and get the original monster hunter. Just a thought.
